Wolves vs Leicester Match Details
Wolves vs Leicester kicks off at 20.00 at Molineux Stadium on Friday 14 February. The match is being broadcast live on BT Sport 1.
Wolves came within six minutes of being only the second team to take a Premier League point off Liverpool this season in their last home game. But they’ve been solid at home for most of the season, recording four wins and five draws, whilst their three defeats at Molineaux came against Liverpool, Tottenham, and Chelsea.
Wolves’ last five home matches have ended 1-2, 1-1, 3-2, 1-2, and 2-0, meaning both teams have scored in 80% of those games, whilst 66% have produced more than 2.5 goals.
Leicester aren’t playing as well as they were earlier in the season, but they’ve drawn against Chelsea and easily beaten West Ham in their last two home matches.
But they’ve not been as good away from home, where they’ve recently lost their EFL Cup semifinal at Aston Villa following an away defeat at Burnley.
The scores of Leicester’s last five away games have been 2-1, 0-3, 1-2, 3-1, and 1-4, so all five have produced more than 2.5 goals, whilst both teams have scored in 80% of those games.
Wolves vs Leicester Head-To-Heads
Wolves and Leicester have played each other just five times in the Premier League, with the first two of those games being in the 2003/4 season. Wolves won their home match that season 4-3 with the reverse fixture at Leicester ending 0-0.
Strangely, those have also been the results of the last two games between the two sides, with last season’s match at Molineaux ending 4-3, whilst this year’s match at the King Power Stadium ending 0-0. In between those matches, Leicester recorded their only victory over Wolves in a 2-0 home win.
