Wolves vs Bournemouth Analysis
18:00 Kick-Off on 24th June
Bournemouth’s struggles continued in their first post-lockdown match, with a 2-0 home defeat by Crystal Palace leaving them languishing in the relegation zone. That means the Cherries have taken just one point from their last five games, with further defeats by Liverpool, Burnley, and Sheffield United.
Wolves are currently above three of those four teams that have beaten Bournemouth and it will be disappointing if they don’t win considering they’re unbeaten in their last four games.
Admittedly, they failed to score in two of those games against Brighton and Leicester but, again, both these teams are above Bournemouth.
Wolves also have an excellent record against Bournemouth since they were promoted two seasons ago. They won the first home game 2-0, while also drawing the reverse fixture that season.
However, they stepped up again this season to win 2-1 at the Vitality Stadium, taking a 2-0 lead.
That makes the case for a Wolves win a compelling one. If you’re looking for a bet on the goal markets, you could do worse than back Raul Jimenez to score at any time, as the Mexican has scored in the last three matches between the two sides. He also opened the scoring against West Ham last week.
