Who Will Win The World Cup?

Who Will Win The World Cup?

Being based in Malta, we’d love to say we’re supporting Malta in the world cup this year but rather unsurprisingly they didn’t make the cut.

So who’s in contention for lifting the cup at the end of the competition? Could Germany repeat their performance from 2014 to win back-to-back? Will Argentina want to do one better than their runner up position? Could Brazil be hungry for victory after their mediocre showing in front of a home crowd?

(Oh… And how could we forget England…)

That’s why we’ve put together a quick poll with the teams that are currently dominating the top spots in the betting markets. We want to hear who you’re actually backing to win the world cup this year whether it’s because you think a team will win or because you hope your national team storms to victory.

    1. Saw Spain last year and they looked every inch a class team who on their day will take some stopping. If they can just get more of a cutting edge in front of goal-then they are my favourites for the WC.

      Hello guys.
I know that Brazil is playing very well, and if it does not meet during the qualifiers with Germany it will go to the final, and in the final it will meet with germany, then the Germans will win the final because germany for me continues with a very powerful squad and in the end will not forgive.

    3. Russia for me. Stand by for corruption of match officials, violent crowds threatening/attacking players during games, plus the intimidation of opposing squads off the field.

    4. Croatia is stronger then ever with Modric, Rakitic, Mandzukic and Corluka as Russia champion with Lokomotiv. Russia is like home ground for brave Croatian.
