Cost of a Heinz Bet

When placing a win Heinz, simply multiply your stake by 57 to get the total cost of your bet. If you want to place an each-way Heinz, this will cost you twice as much, so multiply your stake by 114. For example, a £1 win Heinz bet will cost you £57 and a £1 each-way Heinz bet will cost you £114.

Advantages of a Heinz Bet

The main advantage of a Heinz is it gives you lots of different ways to win. You’ll get some money back if two of your selections win (or place if it’s an each-way bet).

A Heinz bet also gives you lots of chances to land big winning bets, from your, trebles, 4-folds, 5-folds, and especially your 6-fold. Heinz bets are especially popular at big horse racing meetings, where you get the chance to combine six selections at big odds.

For example, imagine those big juicy handicaps at either the Grand National meeting, Glorious Goodwood, the Cheltenham Festival, or Royal Ascot. You could easily combine winning selections at say 8/1, 10/1, 12/1, 14/1, 16/1, and 20/1. The combined odds of those six horses winning would be over 10,000,000/1, meaning you could be a millionaire for just a 10p Heinz bet – or just £5.70.

Even a 10p each-way Heinz bet in which all six of the above selections only placed would win you over £900. You could also have all sorts of combinations of winners and placed horses that would offer a variety of different sized payouts. Some bookmakers even pay bonuses based on the number of winning selections you have.

Ultimately, a Heinz is something you do for fun. It can make a day at the races an awful lot more exciting for little outlay much like a Goliath bet.

Limits on Heinz Bet Payouts

Yes, they do. It’s a good idea to check what these limits are before you place your bet. Just imagine how disappointed you’d be if you thought you’d won a £10 Million by placing a £1 win Heinz bet on the above selections only to find that the limit of the bookie you bet with was only £100,000. However, many bookies do offer limits of £500,000 or even £1,000,000.

Don’t forget, if you do think you might have six big-priced winners, you can always place Heinz bets to smaller stakes with a few bookmakers. They’d then all payout up to their limits and you could still win that big amount if you’re good enough to pick six big-priced winners.

Difference Between a Heinz and a Super Heinz

A Heinz bet is a great bet if you’ve got six selections and want to combine them in a combo bet. But what do you do if you’ve got seven selections? The answer is you can place a Super Heinz.

A Super Heinz simply combines your seven selections into 120 bets, which comprise 21 doubles, 35 trebles, 35 four-folds, 21 five-folds, seven 6-folds, and one 7-fold.

Of course, a Super Heinz is going to cost you 120x your stakes or 240x your stake if you place an each-way Super Heinz.
