This weekend’s Premier League matches bring together two sets of bitter rivals as Arsenal host Tottenham on Sunday afternoon. Meanwhile, Everton also travel to Anfield on Sunday afternoon for the latest renewal of the Merseyside derby. We’ve free tips for both those matches as well as free tips for Saturday’s Premier League matches between Crystal Palace and Burnley and Leicester and Watford.
Crystal Palace vs Burnley (Saturday 3.00)
Crystal Palace are nestled next to each other in sixteenth and seventeenth place in the Premier League table, with each having nine points courtesy of two wins and three draws from 13 games. However, the bookies have priced-up Crystal Palace like they’re a much better side than Burnley, offering a general 8/13 about a Crystal Palace victory. Meanwhile, you can have 11/2 about a Burnley win.
However, Burnley have only beaten Cardiff on their travels this season and it’s hard to be confident about them having the firepower to win. One bet that the statistics do suggest you should have is both teams not to score, and anything around the 8/11 mark looks fair value. Crystal Place have struggled for goals at home this season, whilst Burnley have travelled home without finding the net more often than not. Only one team has also scored in the last three meetings between the two teams.

Leicester vs Watford (Saturday 3.00)
Watford and Leicester sit ninth and tenth in the Premier League table and both fall into the category of capable of anything. It’s no great surprise if they take points of the top teams or drop points to the teams below them, so predicting the result of this match looks a tough call.
However, Leicester’s last five matches have been noticeably low-scoring affairs, all producing less than 2.5 goals, whilst the same bet on three of Watford’s last five games would have been winners, whilst two of the last three games between the two teams have also produced less than three goals. It’s not a game to have massive confidence about but, at a shade of odds-on, less than 2.5 goals just about looks a value-bet.

Arsenal vs Tottenham (Sunday 2.05)
Tottenham and Arsenal are widely considered to be two free-scoring teams, and the only team that ether of them has failed to score against this season is Manchester City. However, only one team has scored in each of the last three head-to-heads between the bitter London rivals, with Tottenham winning 1-0 in February last season and 2-0 the season before, whilst Arsenal also won 2-0 last season. So, with the bookies offering decent odds for both teams not to score, it could be a value-bet on recent evidence.

Liverpool vs Everton (Sunday 4.15)
Everton last beat Liverpool in October 2010, with the 17 games inn all competitions since that victory producing eight wins for Liverpool and nine draws, which makes the draw look a fantastic value-bet at around odds of 4/1.
Everton have also enjoyed plenty of those draws at Anfield, with six wins in 10 games in that period. It’s easy to see Liverpool are the better side but, as both last season’s games between the two teams were draws, it suggests the gulf in class between the two teams often narrows dramatically come the Merseyside Derby. So, whatever the result some Sunday teatime, the value-bet must be the draw.
