Saturday’s Free Premier League Tips
It’s back to the Premier League this weekend after plenty of entertaining midweek EFL Cup action, and we’ve analysis and free tips for four Premier League matches on Saturday. Check out our free tips for Everton vs Brighton, Newcastle vs Watford, Arsenal vs Liverpool, and Wolves vs Tottenham.
Everton vs Brighton (3.00)
Three straight wins for Brighton has seen them fire themselves out of the relegation battle and into mid-table security. However, they still have a poor away record against teams higher than them in the table. One of those teams is this Saturday’s opponents Everton, who beat Brighton 2-0 last season with two second-half goals. A similar story has also unfolded in Everton’s last two home games, with both goals coming in the second half in their 2-0 win against Crystal, whilst all three goals came in the second-half in their 3-0 victory over Fulham. Therefore, it could be worth taking a punt in the half-time/full-time market with a draw at half-time and Everton winning at full-time.

Newcastle vs Watford (3.00)
Whatever the result of this match, it’s hard to see why the in-form Watford are a similar price to a Newcastle side that is really struggling to score goals and is yet to win a match home or away this season. Indeed, they’ve lost all five of their home games and, whilst defeats against Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham can be excused, it’s much harder to forgive home defeats to Leicester and Brighton. Meanwhile, Watford have already beaten Burnley and Fulham on their travels this season, two teams that are above Newcastle in the table. Therefore, you could be forgiven for thinking that Newcastle must have a great record against Watford. However, that’s not the case, with Watford winning the last three matches between the two sides, including a 3-0 win at St James’s Park last season. So, having made a proper case for a Watford win, odds of 7/4 or above are more than acceptable.

Arsenal vs Liverpool (5.30)
This is an interesting test for both teams at this stage of the season, but it will be a big surprise if there isn’t plenty of goals between two-sides that love to entertain. That’s very much been the case in their last seven head-to-heads which, whilst one ended 0-0, six produced at least four goals, with one producing five, two producing six, and one producing seven. Three of Arsenal’s last four Premier League games have also produced at least four goals, whilst Liverpool rediscovered their shooting boots with four goals against Watford last weekend. Therefore, it could be time to not even think about picking the winner, and simply playing more than 3.5 goals.

Wolves vs Tottenham (7.45)
Wolves have made a decent start to their latest return to the Premier League, and have proved with draws against Everton and Manchester City that they are capable of holding their own at home against higher-placed opposition. However, they’ve been unable to find the net in their last two games against Watford and Brighton, and failure to score against Tottenham could spell disaster. However, as Tottenham haven’t been as prolific in front of goal as last season, this could well end up 1-0 or 2-0 to Tottenham, especially as there has been no more than 2 goals in any of Wolves’ last 12 matches. There’s a temptation to play the less than 2.5 goals at around 10/11, which would cover all sorts of low-scoring outcomes but, at bigger prices, I’ll stick with the Tottenham 1-0 or 2-0 theory.
