Liverpool are top dogs heading into the festive football period and will be aiming to stay there when they travel to Wolves on Friday night. However, Wolves are also in form and will be keen to keep up their own challenge as they sit just one point behind Manchester United in seventh place. We’ve a free tip for Wolves vs Liverpool, as well as free football tips for Bournemouth vs Brighton and West Ham vs Watford on Saturday, and a free tip for Everton vs Tottenham on Sunday.
Wolves vs Liverpool (Friday 8.00)
Premier League leaders Liverpool have the opportunity to pile some pressure on the teams below them when they take on Wolves at Molineux on Friday night. However, Wolves could prove an acid test for Jurgen Klopp’s team having won their last three matches. That run started with a home win over Chelsea, whilst Wolves have also taken a point off plenty of teams above them in the table this season including Manchester City, Manchester United, and Arsenal.
Wolves, who struggled for goals for much of the season, have also scored two goals in each of those last three wins. Add that to the fifth meanest defence in the Premier League and it’s easy to see why Wolves are capable of taking points off the big teams. That’s why the draw looks the value-bet at 3/1or bigger.

Bournemouth vs Brighton (Saturday 3.00)
Bournemouth and Brighton have both endured good runs and bad runs this season, but both teams are currently out of form. Bournemouth are on a run of six defeats in their last seven Premier League games, and a 2-0 Carabao Cup defeat at Chelsea on Wednesday night won’t have helped their confidence. That run has been made to look worse than it probably is though as they’ve had to play Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Arsenal, but they’re now just two points above slow starting Brighton in the Premier League Table.
After wins against Huddersfield and Crystal Palace, Brighton have also gone off the boil with defeats against Chelsea and Burnley, and they’ve proven a much better team at home over the last couple of seasons, despite notching up away wins at Newcastle and Huddersfield. However, with both teams currently struggling for form, it’s interesting that both of last season’s matches were draws, and that result could again be the value. Both those matches were also drawn at half-time and full-time, if you want to chance bigger odds.

West Ham vs Watford (Saturday 3.00)
It’s often the case that squads with a lot of new players often take about a third of a season to gel together, and that’s certainly the case with West Ham. Manager Manuel Pellegrini brought in lots of new players over the summer and, despite a poor start to the season, The Hammers have reaped the benefits of those investments by winning their last four games to jump up to ninth position in the Premier League Table. They’ve also scored 11 goals in those four games and conceded just three.
By comparison, Watford started the season on fire but have now slipped to tenth position after a haul of just five points in their last seven games. It’s also interesting that both games last season went to the home side, so everything looks right for West Ham to press on and make it five wins in a row.

Everton vs Tottenham (Sunday 4.00)
Tottenham simply outclassed Everton last season, winning the corresponding fixture 3-0, whilst they won 4-0 at Wembley. Everton may be having a better season under new manager Marco Silva, but they’ve still struggled against the top-six teams, losing to Manchester, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester United, whilst they were lucky to get a 0-0 draw against Chelsea.
Everton have also gone cold recently, claiming just two points in their last four matches, whilst Tottenham have won six of their last seven away Premier League away games. Tottenham are already 15 points ahead of Everton in the Premier League Table and I’m happy to take odds-against that Tottenham extend that gap to 18 points come teatime on Sunday.
