It’s another big weekend of Premier League action, and Chelsea can probably eliminate Arsenal from the title-race if they beat them at Stamford Bridge on Saturday in the big lunchtime match. We’ve got a value-tip from that match, as well as Everton vs Bournemouth, West Brom vs Stoke, and Leicester vs Manchester United.
Chelsea vs Arsenal (Saturday 12.30)
This fixture produced an amazing 3-5 score-line 5 seasons ago, but Chelsea have won 6 of the last 7, and 5 of those wins were recorded to nil. Chelsea have also been keeping plenty of clean-sheets at Stamford Bridge this season, with 6 in their last 8 Premier League home matches. Arsenal fans won’t be too disheartened though having beaten Chelsea 3-0 earlier in the season, and much may depend on whether it’s that Arsenal who turn-up or the Arsenal who lost their last game 2-1 to Watford. It’s Chelsea’s consistency against Arsenal’s flamboyancy – and Chelsea’s consistency makes me believe that the 13/5 for Chelsea to win to nil is the value-bet.

Everton vs Bournemouth (Saturday 3.00)
Everton’s home form has been solid of late, with a 1-0 defeat by Liverpool their only loss in 5 games which also saw them beat Manchester City 4-0, Southampton 3-0 and Arsenal 2-1. Meanwhile, Bournemouth have lost 5 of their last 6 away games. Everton may have lost away to Bournemouth 1-0 earlier in the season, when struggling for form, but they did win this fixture last season 2-1 and 2-0 in last season’s FA Cup.

West Brom vs Stoke (Saturday 3.00)
It’s easy to see why West Brom have been installed as favourites as the slightly higher-placed team, and they’ve won their last 6 home games against lower-placed teams, as well as winning the last 2 renewals of this fixture. However, Stoke have also been performing well against the same teams West Brom have been beating, and they’ve been taking plenty of points away from home against the bottom-half clubs. There’s not much between these two teams on that evidence and, as they drew their other match this season, the 23/10 for another draw is a price I’m happy to take.

Leicester vs Manchester United (Sunday 4.00)
Manchester United landing odds of 8/11 wouldn’t be the biggest surprise seeing as they’re unbeaten in 15 Premier League Games, but there’s plenty of reasons to think they’re not value at that price. Firstly, they’ve drawn 7 of those 15 games. Meanwhile Leicester, despite not having a great season, have at least won one, lost one and drawn one against top-6 opposition at home this season, as well as drawing away at Spurs. United have won both games between the teams this season if you include the Community Shield but, with Leicester having the services back of some players who’ve been missing, it’s worth remembering that both games between them last season ended 1-1.
