Premier League Value-Bets
Just one point separates Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea at the top in the most exciting Premier League start in years, and we’ve value bets for the following matches this weekend: Sunderland vs Arsenal, West Brom vs Man City, Crystal Palace vs Liverpool, and Southampton vs Chelsea.
Sunderland vs Arsenal (Saturday 12.30pm)
Arsenal are a best-priced 4/9 to win a fixture they’ve won 4 times in the last 5 seasons, and the big-hitters may well be filling their boots with Sunderland struggling for form. However, the value bet looks to be Arsenal to win to nil at 31/20. You’d have collected twice in the last 4 years, meanwhile Sunderland have failed to find the net in their last 3 games, whilst Arsenal have conceded just once in their last 8 games in all competitions.
Arsenal to win to nil @ 31/20 (Betvictor)
West Brom vs Man City (Saturday 3pm)
City have won the last 4 renewals of this fixture, though taking odds of 7/15 about them winning away from home in their current form doesn’t look an attractive proposition. Much more interesting is the fact that the last 6 games between the two teams have produced at least 3 goals – and the 11/13 for that to happen again looks more than fair.
More than 2.5 goals @ 11/13 (188 Bet)
Crystal Palace vs Liverpool (Saturday 5.30pm)
Crystal Palace have made a reasonable start to the season, but they’ve already lost two of their four home games to West Brom and West Ham. Meanwhile, Liverpool are playing a standard of football that should give them a good shot at the title this year, and they’ve beaten Swansea and Chelsea in their last two Premier League away games. Add in the fact they’ve won on their last two visits to Crystal Palace – and 3/4 for a Liverpool win looks decent value.
Liverpool to win @ 3/4 (Betstars, Paddy Power)
Southampton vs Chelsea (Sunday 4pm)
Southampton are undefeated in their last 12 home games, a run that stretches back to February. However, the team that beat them last was Chelsea, and the Blues have notched-up two wins and a draw in their last three visits to Southampton. After a poor September, Chelsea have also found their stride again with convincing wins over Hull, Leicester and Manchester United – and the 29/20 for a Chelsea win looks a decent price.
Chelsea to win @ 29/20 (Betstars)
