Premier League Statistics And Tips

Posted November 19, 2016 | By Tim @ Betting Gods

Liverpool must win at Southampton in the tea-time match on Saturday to maintain their lead at the top of the Premier League, and we’ve value-bets for that match, as well as Crystal Palace vs Man City, Sunderland vs Hull, and the televised Saturday Lunch-time game Manchester United vs Arsenal.

Manchester United vs Arsenal (Saturday 12.30pm)

Arsenal have 6 points and 10 goals more in the bank than Manchester United after just 11 games of the season, but a haul of just 1 point from their last 4 visits to Old Trafford is more likely to motivate United. However, Arsenal have collected 13 points from their 5 away games so far this season, though wins at Watford, Hull, Burnley and Sunderland were games you would have expected them to win. Much more encouraging to Arsenal players will be the fact that Manchester United have failed to beat Burnley and Stoke in their last 2 home games. It’s a difficult game to call, with current form not backing-up the statistics, so a draw may be the value-bet.

Draw @ 12/5 (Bet365, Paddy Power)

Crystal Palace vs Manchester City (Saturday 3pm)

Man City have been pretty ruthless against the lower-half teams away from home this season, beating West Brom 4-0, Swansea 3-1 and Stoke 4-1, and their 1-1 home draw against Middlesbrough can be put down to the come-down-factor after beating Barcelona. Palace are there for the taking too after losing their last 4 games, and as City have won 3 of the last 4 renewals to nil – that could again be the value bet.

Manchester City To Win To Nil @ 19/10 (Betvictor)

Sunderland vs Hull (Saturday 3pm)

A clash between two of the worst 3 teams in the Premier League may not be high on the list of everyone’s matches to bet on this weekend, but Hull have at least won 3 times this season. And, as they’ve won on their last two visits to Sunderland, 3-1 and 2-0 (both in 2014) they may just be value to bring-up the hat-trick.

Hull To Win @ 3/1 (Coral)

Southampton vs Liverpool (Saturday 3pm)

Southampton have a pretty solid home record, but Chelsea’s win here in October highlighted that there is a gulf in class between the top teams and the second-tier teams like Southampton. Liverpool could also be the best-of-the-best this season and, as they’ve won 3 of their last 4 matches at Southampton, odds-against looks a fair price. They’ve also had a Half-time/full-time lead in those 3 games, and were even 2-0 up at half-time in the game they somehow ended-up losing 3-2.

Liverpool win @ 5/4 (Boylesports, Betway)

Liverpool Half-Time/Full-Time @ 27/10 (Coral)

Aside from the Hull win I agree with your analysis. Sunderland are bad,but have a goalscorer in Defoe who could make the difference between these two relegation probables.
