Manchester City head to Leicester this Saturday where they’ll be hoping to maintain their 100% away record, and we’ve a tip for that match as well as tips for Burnley vs Swansea, and Liverpool vs Southampton.
Burnley vs Swansea (3.00)
Burnley have been much the better team this year, with 19 points from 11 games leaving them in seventh in the Premier League Table, 11 Points above Swansea. However, it’s Swansea who hold the better head-to-head statistics having won the last four games between the two sides, including the last two renewals of this fixture. Therefore, it may be a good idea to concentrate on the under/over goals market rather than trying to pick the winner. Swansea actually won the reverse fixture 3-2 last season, but that was a very unusual score-line for matches between the two sides, with the previous three ending 1-0. Backing less than 1.5 goals would have also been a winning bet in four of Burnley’s five home matches this season and, with Swansea not in the habit of scoring many goals at the moment, less than 1.5 goals looks the value-play.

Leicester vs Manchester City (3.00)
Manchester City’s 100% away record remains intact, but Leicester have been tough opponents in the last couple of seasons for them. Leicester have won and drawn the last two renewals, whilst they’ve also won one of the two reverse fixtures. Meanwhile, Manchester City have looked sublime recently and are expected to continue their dominance. However, as Leicester have scored in all their home games this season, and City have conceded in 5 of their last 7 games in all competitions, I’d rather take odds-against that City win and both teams score, than the 4/11 for a Manchester City win.
Liverpool vs Southampton (3.00)
Liverpool haven’t won any of their last five games against Southampton and, though Southampton aren’t looking as good as they have in the last couple of seasons, they still only find themselves 6 points behind their opponents after 11 games. One notable feature of the matches in the last two seasons has been the lack of goals though, with just 2 goals in 4 matches. Low-scoring matches may not be something you’d instantly associate with Liverpool, but there have also been less than 2.5 goals in 3 of their 5 home games this season, and in 8 of Southampton’s 11 Premier League Matches. Therefore, odds-against for less than 2.5 goals looks the play. However, with less than 2.5 goals in the last 4 matches between the teams, that also looks worth an investment.
