Another fascinating round of Premier League matches, with Chelsea vs Everton, West Brom vs Stoke, Liverpool vs Arsenal, and Tottenham vs Burnley – and we’ve tips for all of them.
Chelsea vs Everton (1.30)
If last year’s results are anything to go by, then Chelsea are certainties after winning this fixture 5-0 and also 3-0 at Goodison Park. However, Ronald Koeman looks to have spent wisely this summer as he strives to build a young Everton team capable of competing at the highest level, with a home win and an away draw against Manchester City. Meanwhile, Chelsea have made a strange start having lost at home to Burnley, then travelled to Wembley to inflict defeat on Tottenham. Chelsea deserve to be favourites but, after an inconsistent start, a draw looks the value.

West Brom vs Stoke (1.30)
West Brom were fancied to be one of the relegation candidates this year, but confidence is high after two opening wins against Burnley and Bournemouth. However, Stoke won’t be lacking in confidence after beating Arsenal, whilst a 1-0 defeat at Everton wasn’t a bad performance. However, with 4 of the last 5 games between the two producing less than 2.5 goals, and all of their matches this year doing the same – the best has to be less than 2.5 goals.

Liverpool vs Arsenal (4.00)
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has an outstanding record against the big teams, and didn’t lose a Premier League game against Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham and Manchester City last season. Liverpool also did the double over Arsenal, winning 3-1 here at Anfield, and 4-3 at Arsenal, and odds against looks a fair price for a Liverpool win.

Tottenham vs Burnley (4.00)
An interesting start to the season for both teams. Spurs were unbeaten at White Hart Lane last season, but have already lost at this season’s home venue, Wembley. Meanwhile Burnley, who were terrible away from home last season, claimed 3 points at Chelsea on the opening weekend of the season (who of course were the team who beat Tottenham here last weekend). Past fixtures show that Tottenham have won their 4 home games against Burnley this decade but, with both teams scoring in 4 of those matches, and Tottenham looking less assured at Wembley – a Spurs win and both teams to score could be the way forward.
