Premier League Betting Tips
Manchester City may have established early dominance over Chelsea so far, but both visit teams who they don’t have great recent records against – and it may be Manchester United or even Leicester topping the table come Sunday Night.
Manchester United vs Newcastle (Saturday 12.45)
United have won both of this season’s games 1-0, but 4 of their last 6 home game against Newcastle have produced 3 goals or more. Newcastle don’t currently look any better than the team that just survived relegation last year – and United are fancied to put on their scoring boots.
More than 2.5 goals in the game @ 5/6 (BetVictor, Betfair Sportsbook)
Crystal Palace vs Villa (Saturday 3.00)
The last 4 games between the pair have produced only 3 goals, with no more than any one goal in any game. Palace’s two games so far this season have been quite entertaining goal-wise (7 in total) but both Villa’s games have ended 1-0. It’s 40/17 that there’s less than 1.5 goals and that looks the value bet.

Leicester vs Spurs (Saturday 3.00)
Both last year’s clashes resulted in 3 goals or more, and both of Leicester’s games and one of Spurs’ so far have done the same – making the 5/6 for more than 2.5 goals look a fair bet.

Sunderland vs Swansea (Saturday 3.00)
Swansea have made by far the better start to the season, but Sunderland have a habit of drawing plenty of games at home, and have drawn against Swansea on 3 of the last 5 occasions they’ve hosted their Welsh rivals. It is 27/11 that they can hold them again, which looks the way to go.
Draw @ 27/11 (Unibet, 888)
WBA Vs Chelsea (Sunday 1.30)
Neither team has started the season well, with Chelsea only picking up 1 point so far, and WBA not having even scored a goal. Chelsea will be keen to notch a win, but WBA have won 3 and drawn one of their last 4 home games against them. Their lack of goals could be a problem though, but the 3/1 the draw looks worth a bet.
Draw @ 3/1 (Bet365)
Everton vs Manchester City (Sunday 4.00)
City have already been slammed into favouritism after two 3-0 wins, but have only won one of their last 6 visits to Goodison Park. Everton have also started reasonably with a win and a draw, and City look worth laying at 1.68 on Betfair.
