Premier League Betting Tips: Last Gasp Leicester Look Good
It’s not far from last gap saloon at both the top and bottom of the Premier League table this week as Arsenal know only victory over Chelsea will keep their already exceedingly slim hopes of winning the title alive. Meanwhile, in the relegation dogfight, Burnley host Leicester in a match that may well seal the fate of either side if they lose.
If Arsenal had played as well all season as they have done in recent weeks then this may really be a clash of the titans. However, the reality is that even if Arsenal win they’ll struggle to claw back another 7 points over the remaining 5 games.
Arsenal have now won their last 9 Premier League games, three better than Chelsea’s current run – but it is Chelsea who have been the dominant team in their head-to-heads over the last few years. Chelsea have won their last three home games against the Gunners, but have also notched two victories and two draws in their last 4 visits to the Emirates.
Chelsea boss Mourinho will be fully aware that a draw here will all but seal another Premier League crown and, with half of the last four renewals producing that result – it seems the value bet.

Burnley vs Leicester
Burnley are on their worst run of a very poor season, and 5 defeats in their last 7 games sees them languishing at the bottom of the table; two points behind their 18th placed opponents and with a goal difference that’s 8 worse. They’ve also only scored one goal in those 7 games.
Meanwhile, Leicester looked dead and buried at the end of March yet somehow have strung together 3 straight Premier League wins against Swansea, West Brom and West Ham to get them within touching distance of Premier League survival. They’re also scoring freely; netting 8 times in those 3 victories.
Apart from their superior current form, Leicester have also dominated clashes between the pair over the last few seasons, winning 3 of the last 5 head-to-heads including both times they’ve travelled to Burnley.
The bookies have Burnley as favourites, but all the evidence points to Leicester having the upper-hand – and they can oblige. As Burnley are struggling for goals it may also be worth backing Leicester to win to nil.
