Predictions For I’m A Celebrity 2019
Published on 11/11/19
I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! is one of the most challenging reality shows out there. From eating creepy crawlies in the bush-tucker trials to having to sleep in close proximity to snakes and spiders, not to mention your fellow camp mates!
The new series of the hit show will be hitting our screens on Sunday, November 17th. With Ant and Dec officially back together on presenting duties, it’s set to be an unmissable series.
Stars of the show have already been pictured touching down in Australia, so with that it’s time to place your bets on who will be crowned king or queen of the jungle for 2019.
Who Is In I’m A Celebrity 2019?
The lineup for this year is as follows:
Nadine Coyle – Former Girls Aloud singer
Kate Garraway – GMB presenter
James Haskell – Former rugby player
Caitlyn Jenner – Television personality
Jacqueline Jossa – Ex-EastEnders star
Roman Kemp – Presenter and Capital Radio DJ
Adele Roberts – Actress and Radio 1 DJ
Myles Stephenson – X Factor winner 2017
Andrew Whyment – Coronation Street Actor
Ian Wright – Former footballer and TV pundit
As always, the show’s producers have provided us with a very mixed bag. From one of the stars of Keeping Up With The Kardashians to Kirk from Corrie.
There are some much more recognisable names this year compared to previous series. This could make for a really interesting vote as the fan bases are seismically different.
What Can We Expect From This Years Line Up?
One of the biggest shocks in the lineup announcement this year is Caitlyn Jenner. She’s also one of the highest ever paid stars earning a reported £500,000.
Interestingly Caitlyn said she had never heard of I’m a Celebrity and so doesn’t know what to expect. A few days later the story broke that she actually appeared in the US version of the show as Bruce and made it to the final. Could she be the dark horse of the competition?
It will be interesting to see if there is any friction between camp mates this year, as there are a lot of headstrong characters. Ian Wright and James Haskell have bromance potential but as both are pretty outspoken, it could equally be witchetty grubs at dawn.
Life in the jungle is very different to the pampered lifestyle that Nadine Coyle is used to. Although she’s unlikely to win, fans of Girls Aloud will be hanging on for gossip about what really went down between the band mates, especially as it’s rumoured herself and Cheryl never saw eye to eye.
Kate Garraway and Andrew Whyment have previously appeared in other reality shows and were knocked out in the early stages. If their singing and dancing is on par with their survival skills, a similar untimely exit awaits.
I'm A Celebrity 2019 - Top Female Analysis
17th November - 8th December
There are some strong female contenders this year, but it goes without saying that Jacqueline Jossa stands a very good chance at being crowned Queen of the jungle. She’s built up a loyal fanbase as the actress playing feisty Lauren Branning in Eastenders, with 1.5 million followers on Instagram.
As a young mum, Jacqueline is also relatable to the target audience who are more likely to cast their votes for her. She’s also shown in her YouTube videos that she’s down to Earth and just like any ordinary girl. All in all, she makes for a very safe bet.
I'm A Celebrity 2019 - Top Male Analysis
17th November - 8th December
It’s a tough one as Myles, Roman and James are popular with the younger crowd and have a strong following on social media. But if it came down to a deciding vote consisting of an arm wrestle with Kiosk Keith, our money would be on James.
James is the husband of Chloe Madely and son-in-law of Richard Madely. He’s very well known for his rugby as well as his fitness, so that could win him brownie points with the ladies in the jungle. He’s more than capable of taking on any physical bushtucker trial. It will all come down to how well his personality comes across in the group, but he’s definitely one to watch.
