With league leaders Lincoln City having done the National League proud, despite a heavy defeat at the Emirates, last weekend saw Dagenham & Redbridge come out on top against fellow high-flyers Forest Green at Victoria Road. However, with Mark Cooper’s men having recovered to defeat Sutton United in midweek, Rovers still find themselves two points clear of the Essex-based side, as they look to cement their place in the play-offs.
With play-off chasing Dover, Aldershot and Barrow having all suffered defeats last time around, this weekend’s set of fixtures could help to give us a clearer indication of likely finishes come the end of the campaign, with much to play for at both ends of the table. Forest Green take on Wrexham the New Lawn, with Dean Keates’ side looking to recover from a home defeat to in-form Gateshead, as the Dragons now find themselves ten points away from a spot in the play-offs. Rivals Dagenham face a potentially tricky away trip to Barrow, with the home side looking to earn just their second win in their last six outings.
Elsewhere, Aldershot, Dover Athletic and Gateshead all have favourable home ties this weekend, with the trio all still harbouring promotion hopes. Neil Aspin’s side are undoubtedly the in-form team in the division having won four from their last five, with striker Danny Johnson looking to continue his fine run in front of goal.

National League North
After a predictable week of action in the National League North last time around, with each of the top seven teams in the table collecting all three points, the upcoming weekend of action promises to be more competitive, with a host of big games featuring those in and around the promotion mix.
Leaders Fylde take on Kidderminster at Mill Farm, and although John Eustace’s men have the best defensive record in the division, Dave Challinor will be confident of victory given their recent form, as well as home advantage. Salford welcome neighbours Stockport Country to the ever-expanding Moor Lane, with just four points separating the Ammies in second and Jim Gannon’s team in sixth.
Meanwhile, promotion chasing Halifax, Darlington and Tamworth will all be hoping to take advantage of home advantage this weekend, with any team in the top ten still harbouring realistic hopes of making the season ending play-offs.
There are also key encounters at the bottom of the table, with the likes of Gainsborough, Worcester and Bradford Park looking to end their runs without a league victory, with many clubs still in danger of being sucked into the bottom three.

National League South
Dominant wins for Chelmsford City, East Thurrock and Bath City dominated the headlines from last weekend in the National League South, with Maidenhead United and Ebbsfleet continuing to battle it out at the top of the pile, with still just a single point separating the duo.
Both teams will fancy their chances of adding to their points tally this weekend, with the table toppers taking on Welling United and Weston-Super-Mare respectively, while Dartford will be looking to take advantage of any slip-ups as they face Truro City the Princes Park. Hampton & Richmond travel to Poole Town knowing that a win would move them to within just two points of a play-off spot, while Hungerford find themselves in a similar position, as the Crusaders prepare to face a struggling Concord Rangers.
In the bottom half, despite a win over Gosport Borough last weekend, Margate still find themselves ten points from safety, with Whitehawk’s encounter with Bishop’s Stortford potentially having a huge bearing on the relegation picture.
Elsewhere, one of the most fascinating ties of the weekend comes from the St. Georges Stadium, as Wealdstone take on Chelmsford City, with the home side having won their last five league fixtures to rise up to eighth in the table.
