Greyhound Racing Tips & Preview 21st – 23rd October
Hello and welcome to the latest PGT weekend preview blog, hope you were all on last Friday as the free selection (Leap Aboard) duly obliged and rewarded those that followed us in at a juicy 9/2 starting price.
Racing Post Greyhound TV returns to our screens this evening with a decent all open race card from Romford while over at Sunderland punters have a tricky all graded card to try and work out.
The PGT free Friday selection for this week is Willy Whitesocks who runs from T4 in the maiden stayers race at 9.40 from Romford over the six bend 575 metre trip. The Kevin Hutton trained Towcester raider has been flying around Henlow recently in the Gold Cup heats and final and looks a lively runner tonight on his return to Romford. The key to victory for Willy Whitesocks backers will be the break and run into the first corner, lead round and it’s race on down the back straight.
PGT FREE FRIDAY SELECTION – WILLY WHITESOCKS – T4 – 9.40 Romford
At 9.24 look out for Evanta Fantasy when she runs from T3 in the 500 bitches final over the standard four bend trip of 400 metres. The Mark Wallis trained performer won well in the heats last time out and a repeat of that run should be good enough to take this race.
Over at Sunderland one that could go well is Ballyloo Queen who runs from T4 on English debut in A4 grade. The recent recruit from Ireland looks an interesting runner in this grade and is one to note in the market.
Saturday – Crayford and Newcastle live on Racing Post Greyhound TV
On Saturday evening the RPGTV camera’s move onto Newcastle and Crayford for competitive all graded action. Catch all the racing live on Frontrunner TV Sky channel 468 from 7.15pm. If you are looking for the latest greyhound form and stats head on over to the Racing Post Greyhound Bet website where you can check out the form and see previous runs on RPGTV.
Sunday – Henlow live on Racing Post Greyhound TV
As ever the RPGTV racing week concludes on Sunday evening with a decent mixed card from Henlow. You can view all the racing on Sky channel 468 from 6.15pm and via bookmaker streams when you place a bet on the action.
One to note in the market on Sunday is Shaneboy Freddie who runs from T1 in the third semi final of the Henlow derby over the standard four bend trip of 460 metres. Freddie ran very well in the heats last week and he looks well drawn on Sunday to take this race with a level break. Look out for prices from Bet365, Paddy Power and Betfair on Sunday morning, all three bookmakers offer best odds guaranteed and often have the racing priced up by around lunchtime each day.
