Greyhound Racing Tips – 4th September
Another double header on Thursday night with open racing from Hove and a Bags card to peruse at Sittingbourne.
Jaytee India was pitched straight in the deep end in the UK when contesting the Brighton Belle. She made it into the semi finals there but gets a much easier assignment in maiden company now. Her Irish form reads well and this contest is hardly full of early pace so she should take a prominent position early before asserting down the far side.
Tip – Trap 2 Jaytee India
A six bend contest here, S3 the grade and the standout is the Mick Mavrias trained Curraleigh Rock. This is an awful lot easier than races she has been contesting of late and with her tendency to ping when draw this wide she should be capable of going trap to line.
Tip – Trap 4 Curraleigh Rock
Unlikely to be much of a price but Underground Paul looks to have a penalty kick next up against a weak looking field. Main danger should be Droopys Stoute in trap 1 but that rival was banished by almost 9 lengths last time this pair met. The selection would need to be a long way below his best not to score, looking to have a good 5 lengths in hand of these.
Tip – Trap 4 Underground Paul
A 475 contest to end with, the short run to the bend here sometimes makes these tricky but Maireads Bel is the best drawn dog of the night. She generally pops out and with five railers inside her, she can skip clear of any early trouble and quickly put this contest to bed.
Tip – Trap 6 Maireads Bel
