Greyhound Racing Tips – 27th August
Published on 27/08/14
Thursday nights are open nights at Hove, we have another four selections for you this week.
We get cracking in the opening contest with the best drawn dog of the night in the shape of Whileyouwait. This bang railer has a middle and four wides outside him in a race that screams trouble. He is a natural speedball with the pace to get to the bend in front even if missing the kick with the likely crowding outside making this task easier looking.
Tip – Trap 1 Whileyouwait
The puppy race at 20.34 looks full of decent prospects, none more so than Billys Bullet for the Dean Child’s kennel. He will need to work hard to clear the one dog but it should be plain sailing from there with efforts posted in July more than good enough to beat a field of this nature.
Tip – Trap 2 Billys Bullet
Millstreet Lady might be a veteran now but she gave her rivals a running lesson in the Brighton Belle heats from the same striped jacket. A similar smash break should see her straight onto the bunny and she is likely to prove very hard to pick up if that is the case.
Tip – Trap 6 Millstreet Lady
Jet Stream Storm is likely to make up into an above average sort for the Kev Hutton team and can make a successful debut on English soil. His Irish card reads well in the context of this race, as do excellent trials at both Swindon and Sittingbourne. He can take this contest by the scruff of the neck from trap rise and a 29.80 could easily be in the making.
Tip – Trap 3 Jet Stream Storm
