Greyhound Racing Tips – 21st November

Posted November 20, 2014 | By Michael @ Betting Gods

Racing is live from Romford and Sunderland with the first round of the Essex vase live on RacingPost Greyhound TV from 7.15pm, hopefully we can land a few winners again, last week we managed to find three from four, including Airport Captain at 7/2.

Let’s crack on with our tips for greyhound racing today and find the winners –

The first race to highlight is the second Essex vase heat at 8.18, BALLYMAC AALTO is fancied to make all from T1, the lightly raced son of Shaneboy Lee shows blistering early pace as the recent 13.70 sprint trial shows, if he manages to lead round and puts the four bend pace to good use he could be well clear approaching the winning line, stamina has to be take on trust but having previously won at Nottingham over the tough 500 meter trip the ‘easy’ six bend trip of 575 meters should be fine, it is however a very competitive heat with the likes of Blackstone Marco (T2) Jet Stream Duke (T5) and Janoan (T6) in opposition.

BENKAAT PANTHER runs in the fourth heat (8.50) from T3, the Mark Wallis trained Yarmouth raider will be looking to get on the bunny early here and could break well from the middle draw, the middle seed has been drawn in Trap five on his last two runs over course and distance and found trouble last time out, better drawn tonight with little early pace on his outside he can ping out and make all, clearing Longford By Pass (T1) at the first bend will be the key to the race. Adoremus (T5) won well last week after a smash break; can he repeat that effort in this field?

The early paced KILLURE HUNTER returned to Romford last week after a layoff, the Dave Mullens trained greyhound missed the break but then showed blistering early to get into the race but met trouble at the first bend, if trapping in best fashion here he will take all the beating, the potential hazard will be clearing the early paced Sneezy Dreamer from T1 at trap rise, if doing so our selection should be away and gone.

HEADFORD JOE has been running very well over course and distance in recent weeks and is fancied to make all in the 10.11 open race over the standard 400 meter trip from T6, the draw looks ideal with Elaine’s Boy (T5) slow away and the potential for trouble on the inside with Mikes Machine (T1) and Dower Matt (T2) both looking to grab the rails around the first bend, if our selection pings and stay wide he should lead round and it’s race on from there.

Over at Sunderland it’s a competitive graded card, the best bet on the card runs in the A2 race at 10.18 from T5, DARBY O GILL is fancied to make all here from an ideal draw, with little early pace either side our selection should be away and gone.
