Greyhound Racing Tips – 14th November
RacingPost Greyhound TV is live from Romford and Sunderland tonight, sky channel 212 from 7.15pm, plenty of top class action with four bend dogs making the step up to the 575 meter six bend trip for the first time in preparation for the Essex Vase competition which starts at the end of the month.
Let’s crack on and find a few winners –
The first race to highlight is the Terry Jago memorial trophy final run at 9.24, AIRPORT CAPTAIN looks to have a plot draw in T1 and is likely to be massive value against the favourite Adageo Bob (T4) If Captain can hold the rails and lead off the second bend it’s race on, the Swindon raider is a class act and will take all the beating. Fivestar Clipper (T6) ran well during the Champion stakes recently and will be looking to lead from a wide draw that could hamper the favourite and hand the advantage to our selection Airport Captain. Millwards Master (T2) won the champion stakes and rates a massive danger if turning with the ‘captain’.
IBIZA ROCKS (T1) lost nothing in defeat last time out behind the impressive Aayamzaone on his return after a brief lay off, if 100% tonight the Swindon raider will take all the beating, holding the very pacey Bishops Wood (T4) and Headford Joe (T6) early will make or break the race for our selection, once leading Ibiza Rocks should go onto victory. Elaine’s Boy (T5) will be staying on well and could be the f/c selection.
The 10.26 race over the 575 meter six bend trip is a very interesting and competitive race, Teejayspowerhawk returns to Romford after running well during the St Leger at Wimbledon but with plenty of early pace all round he is unlikely to get the early run he needs, the potentially well drawn FARLOE STRIKER is our selection from T1, the Sheffield trained dog shows good early pace and stays well enough to suggest this track and trip should suit, once leading round it could take a good one to peg him back, Blackstone Marco (T3) is a class act but will do well to lead from a middle draw, Farley Rio seems to have gone off the boil recently but a return to his best form would see him go close from T4.
Over at Sunderland it’s an all graded card, competitive as ever with plenty for greyhound punters to work out and get stuck into, the best bet on the card comes up at 9.32 in an A4 graded race over the standard 450 meter distance, ROAD TO HAVANA (T6) is a very young pup with great potential, the son of Rayvin Giovanni looks the likely leader out wide and once in front he should be very hard to beat judging by the recent clocks.
