Greyhound Racing Tips – 14th August
Published on 13/08/14
Graded Greyhound racing action this week from Hove and Sittingbourne in the search of value.
It’s been a while since Catching On got her head in front but she looks to have been presented a suitable opportunity here. It’s not long ago that she ran in top grade so it’s somewhat disappointing that she has dropped as far as A4 now. To compound matters she has been doing everything wrong of late but she could easily win this by a street if clicking again.
Betting Tip – Trap 3 – Catching On
It’s very rare that I even look at a bottom grade race, let alone put up a selection but the inclusion of Aero Jojo is forcing me to do exactly that. The grader was very harsh on this pup, putting him in A6 straightaway. He will get a lovely tow into the race from the one dog and can pounce on the run in to open his account.
Betting Tip – Trap 2 Aero Jojo
It’s a testament to the strength of the Hove grading strength that Bellinter Bear was able to win an open to begin August but was turned over in this grade before. This looks a simpler opportunity for him with no pace on his outside in the blue jacket. He should hopefully hit the lids and have these on the rack from the get go.
Betting Tip – Trap 1 Bellinter Bear
Dean Childs’ Maximus has really clicked in recent weeks, having kicked off his career in A8 it took a drop to A10 to get him off the mark but he made short work of A9 last time and should he able to rattle up a quick fire hat-trick here.
