The PGT free Friday selection for this week is Westmead Becky who lines up from T2 in the 8.18 from Romford over the six bend 575 meter trip. The Henlow raider looks well drawn and if she breaks in best fashion she could lead the rails and make all, the key to the race will be clearing Barntick Honey (T1) into the first corner, lead off the second bend and it’s race on. The slight concern is a lack of a look round Romford, but Becky looks a promising stayer in the making and it could be worth taking a chance on her on Romford debut. Jaytee Texas (T5) and Sozzleberry (T6) rate as huge danger, if either were to lead round they could prove hard to peg back.

PGT FREE FRIDAY SELECTION – WESTMEAD BECKY – T2 – 8.18 Romford

A little later on look out for Evanta Fantasy (T4) in the Romford Friday night sprint final at 9.24 over the two bend 225 meter trip. As ever the break over this trip will be vital, but if the Mark Wallis trained daughter of Vans Escalade pings and leads round it should be all over bar the shouting. Aimnfire (T1) will be the danger with a level break.

A very interesting runner later on is Fabulous Model who makes her eight bend debut at 10.40 over the 750 meter distance. The Dave Firmager trained runner has been very lightly raced since coming into season back in July with just two competitive runs since that date, but with a flying 35.25 clock over the 575 meter trip on Tuesday all seems well and she should go close tonight.

Over at Sunderland look out for Headleys Tess who runs from T4 in the A4 graded race at 9.48 over the standard four bend trip of 450 meters. Tess will be making her debut tonight after recently moving up from Sheffield, she has gone well in trials and she is worth noting in the market tonight.

Saturday – Crayford and Newcastle live on Racing Post Greyhound Tv

On Saturday we have the start of the Ladbrokes Golden Jacket heats from Crayford to try and work out, six heats in total are live on the show with the first at 8.02.

One that appeals at this early stage is Roxholme Magic (T6) in the second heat at 8.18, the Hayley Keightley trained wide seed is a staying superstar and although this trip (714m) is slightly shorter than ideal she should have too much for these on Saturday evening. Bubbly Time (T4) is the obvious danger, on her day she is a class act.

Another that should go well on Saturday night is Roxholme Hottie (T5) in the third heat at 8.34. Again trained by Hayley Keightley the daughter of Razldazl Jayfkay impressed over of the 687 meter trip at Wimbledon recently and she will take all the beating here if she handles the tight Crayford circuit.

Sunday – Henlow live on Racing Post Greyhound Tv

The final RPGTV show of the week will be Henlow on Sunday evening, join the panel on Sky channel 212 and Freesat 401 from 6.15pm for all the latest news, market movers and non runner information.
