All eyes will be on Romford this evening as the London road venue stages thirteen open races over a variety of distances, with races over 225 metres, 400 metres, 575 metres and the marathon 750 metre trip there’s a little bit of something for all greyhound punters tonight.

greyhound racing

The PGT free Friday selection for this week is Tri Mike who runs from T1 in the 8.02 open race from Romford over the standard four bend trip of 400 meters. The Frank Gray trained Sittingbourne raider looks ideally drawn on the rails and if he breaks in best fashion he should hold his pitch into the first corner and lead round, on the bunny he will take all the beating. Tri Mike caught the eye around Romford back on the 15th January, on that occasion he found plenty of trouble throughout but showed plenty of pace when able to and looked a future winning in the making.

PGT FREE FRIDAY SELECTION – TRI MIKE – T1 – 8.02 Romford

A little later on look out for Evanta Fantasy (T3) in the 10.11 open race from Romford. The Mark Wallis trained Towcester raider ran out an impressive winner over course and distance last week when she recorded a flying 3.74 sectional and 24.02 clock, a repeat of that should be good enough to take this race. As ever the key to victory will be the break and run into the first corner, lead round and it should be all over bar the shouting down the back straight.

The other card live on RPGTV is from Sunderland, the all graded card looks very tricky and watching the market movers will be a good source of winners. One that could be worth keeping an eye on is Farloe Dana who runs from T1 in the A1 graded race at 10.35. The Yvonne Bell trained railer looks ideally drawn and he should go close with a level break.

Saturday – Crayford and Newcastle live on Racing Post Greyhound Tv

On Saturday evening the RPGTV camera’s move onto Crayford and Newcaslte for competitive greyhound action, you can see all the racing live on Sky channel 468 from 7.15 and online via the various bookmaker streams when you place a bet on the race.

One that appeals at this early stage is Glenbowen Charm who runs from T2 in the Jay & Kay Coach Tours Trophy final at 8.50 from Crayford over the six bend 540 metre trip. Glenbowen Charm has won her last three on the trot over course and distance and looks a lively runner here, as ever the price offered by the bookmakers on Saturday afternoon will determine whether she is worth supporting in the market.

Sunday – Henlow live on Racing Post Greyhound Tv

The final RPGTV show of the week will be from Henlow on Sunday evening, the racing will be on Sky channel 468 from 6.15pm, join the panel for all the latest news, market movers and non runner information.

The feature race on Sunday evening is the Henlow bookmakers sprint final at 8.45 over the 277 metre trip. Mays Teejay (T2) bolted up over course and distance last week in the heats and the Towcester raider is likely to prove very popular with track punters, if you fancy Mays Teejay check out the prices offered by online bookmakers on Sunday afternoon, most offer best odds guaranteed on all the RPGTV action so it really does pay to take the early odds.
