Racing Post Greyhound Tv returns to our screens tonight with an all open race card from Romford while up at Sunderland we have a tricky mixed card to try and work out. Catch all the racing live on Sky channel 468 from 7.15pm tonight.
The free Friday PGT selection for this week is Clubber Lang who lines up from T1 in the standard final at 9.24 over the four bend 400 metre trip at the London road circuit Romford. In a race full of early pace our selection will be a huge runner with a level break, the key will be holding Evanta Fantasy (T2) into the first corner, turn with that rival and Clubber Lang can hit the first down the back straight and take this race.
PGT FREE FRIDAY SELECTION – CLUBBER LANG – T1 – 9.24 Romford
A little earlier on look out for Swift Whirlwind (T6) in heat number five of the 2016 Coral Champion stakes at 8.34. The consistent course and distance performer looks well drawn to lead round again tonight and once on the bunny he’s a classy sort. Lightly raced Omega Kin could be the danger from T1, the Yarmouth raider made a huge impression last week and looks one to follow in the coming weeks over six bends.
Over at Sunderland Master Lego could prove hard to beat in the 8.26 open race over the four bend trip of 450 metres if he breaks in best fashion. The early paced middle seed is capable of a 4.84 sectional and 27.56 clock, a repeat of that run would make him the one to beat here. The key to victory will be the break and run into the first corner, Calzaghe George (T2) will be heading for the rails early on and that could hamper Rock Me Kewell in T1 and hand the advantage to our selection.
Saturday – Crayford and Newcastle live on Racing Post Greyhound Tv
On Saturday evening the RPGTV camera’s move onto Newcastle and Crayford for competitive all graded action, join the panel on Sky channel 468 from 7.15pm for all the latest greyhound racing betting news, race previews and market mover information.
One that appeals and could be worth watching in the market is Miss Lizzie who runs from T2 in the E1 graded race at 8.50 from Crayford over the eight bend 714 metre trip. The April 14 daughter of Kinloch Brae bolted up on her last run over course and distance and looks well drawn to follow-up on Saturday night. Look out for prices from Bet365 and Betfair on Saturday morning, both offer best odds guaranteed on all the Racing Post Greyhound Tv action.
Sunday – Henlow live on Racing Post Greyhound Tv
As ever the racing week concludes on Sunday evening with tricky open race action from Henlow live on RPGTV. All the racing will be live on Frontrunner Tv Sky channel 468 from 6.15pm and via bookmaker streams if you place a bet on the race.
One that could go well at a price and is worth a second look in the market is Aithusa who lines up from T3 in the maiden open at 6.45 over the standard four bend trip of 460 metres. The September 14 son of Shaneboy Lee went well in a course and distance trial earlier this week and looks well drawn with Savana Donie (T2) moving for the rails at trap rise, if Aithisa managed to lead round she could prove hard to peg back.
Another worth a look in the market is Diablo (T1) in the first semi final of the Henlow maiden derby at 8.00. The Towcester raider caught the eye in defeat last time and could go close on Sunday with a level break.
