Tonight we have an all open race card at the London road venue Romford to try and work out plus a very competitive mixed card from Sunderland, all the action is live on Sky channel 212 and Freesat 401 from 7.15pm.

This weeks free Friday tip is Pinpoint Lad who lines up from T1 in the four bend open race at 9.06 from Romford. The Jim Reynolds trained runner has won his last two when drawn on the rails and he looks the one to beat tonight from his plot draw. It is however a very competitive race, Ilewin Allot (T2), Jaytee Genshis (T3) and Dave You Go (T4) are all more than capable of taking a race like this with a ping break so its imperative that Pinpoint Lad traps level and holds the rails pitch into the first corner.

A little later on look out for Blonde Razor (T3) in the stayers race at 10.40 over the six bend 575 meter trip at Romford. The Mark Wallis trained Towcester raider takes a huge drop in class here and if he traps out well he will take all the beating. Adoremus (T5) bolted up over four bends recently and the Maxine Locke trained runner rates as the danger now he’s stepped back up to six bends tonight, if he traps out he could be the one to challenge Blonde Razor on the first circuit.

Over at Sunderland youngster Cosa Nostre who runs from T6 in the A1 graded race at 10.40 is worth noting in the market. The Kelly Macari trained son of Ballymac Vic recorded an impressive 27.87 clock on debut and the wide seed could be one to keep on the right side of over the coming weeks.

Saturday – Crayford and Newcastle live on Racing Post Greyhound TV

Moving on to Saturday evening and we have two very competitive cards to try and work out with Crafyord and Newcastle taking centre stage on RPGTV. Sunday – Henlow live on Racing Post Greyhound TV

The final RPGTV show of the week will be from Henlow on Sunday evening, all the action gets underway from 6.15pm on Sky channel 212 and via a stream on the Racing Post website.

One to keep an eye on is Mustang Major who runs from T1 in the Henlow 460 maiden open race at 8.15. The Richard Devenish trained Peterborough raider found plenty of early trouble over course and distance last week when he was draw out in trap three, now drawn in his ideal box of trap one he will be very hard to beat. As ever the price offered by the bookmakers on Sunday afternoon will determine whether he is worth supporting in the market. Keep an eye on Betfair and Bet365 on Sunday lunchtime when they price up the race.

Roxholme Eliza has been flying home over four bends of late and the August 13 daughter of Head Bound looks an interesting runner from T3 in the 8.45 where she is stepped upto the 550 meter trip for the first time. The key to this race will be avoiding an early bump, turn handy and it’s race on.

Thanks for reading the latest PGT preview, good luck with your selections this weekend.
