Greyhound Betting Tips & Preview 9th – 11th December

Racing Post Greyhound TV returns to our screens this evening with competitive action on show from Romford and Sunderland. Join the RPGTV panel on Sky channel 468 from 7.15pm for all the latest greyhound racing news, race previews and market mover information.
The PGT free Friday selection for this week is Best I Scene who lines up from T1 in the sprint open race from Romford at 7.47. The Paul Young trained son of Drumcrow Obama looks very well drawn as the solo railer in the race and with a level break he should take all the beating. As ever over the 225 metre trip the break and run into the first corner will be vital, lead round and it should be all over bar the shouting down the home straight.
PGT FREE FRIDAY SELECTION – BEST I SCENE – T1 – 7.47 Romford
A little later on look out for Piemans Flash who runs from T5 in the maiden final at 9.24 over the standard four bend trip of 400 metres. The early paced middle seeded recorded a flying 3.71 sectional and 24.07 clock last time out and if he can repeat that run it should be good enough to take this race and land the prize for his connections.
Over at Sunderland lightly raced sprinter Precisely looks the one to beat when he lines up from T3 in the 9.15 open race over the 261 metre trip. The Newcastle raider is blessed with blistering early gears and if he traps in best fashion tonight he should take this race.
Saturday – Crayford and Newcastle live on Racing Post Greyhound TV
On Saturday evening Crayford stages a very competitive and tricky card featuring just the one open race at 8.34 over the six bend 540 metre trip. The one that appeals at this stage and is worth a second look in the market is consistent A1 four bend performer Kelva Destiny who runs from T2 for trainer Jim Daly. The early paced railer will need to bring his trapping boots to clear Amercian Beauty from T1 into the first corner but if Kelva Destiny avoids an early bump and leads round it’s catch me if you can down the back straight.
At 10.11 look out for early paced top grade performer Quivers Cindy who runs from T3. The August 13 daughter of Kinloch Brae looks the likely race leader and on the bunny she will prove hard to peg back. As ever the price offered by the bookmakers on the night will determine whether Cindy is worth supporting in the market.
Sunday – Henlow live on Racing Post Greyhound TV
On Sunday evening the racing week concludes with excellent racing action from Henlow featuring the semi-finals of the Xmas Cesarewitch and the Xmas cracker plus heats of the Xmas St Leger. Catch all the racing live on Frontrunner TV Sky channel 468 from 6.15pm.
One that appeals at this stage and is worth a second look in the market is Jet Stream Pearl (T1) in the second Xmas Cesarewitch semi-final at 8.00. The Kevin Hutton trained Towcester raider looks ideally drawn on the rails and with a level break she will take all the beating. Willy Whitesocks from T4 looks the main danger, it’s imperative that we get first run on that rival.
Look out for prices from Bet365, Betfair and Paddy Power on Sunday morning, all three bookmakers price up the RPGTV action nice and early and offer best odds guaranteed on all races.
