Greyhound Betting Tips & Preview 25th – 27th November

Posted November 25, 2016 | By Michael @ Betting Gods

Racing Post Greyhound TV returns to our screens this evening with thirteen open races on show from Romford, while over at Sunderland greyhound punters have an all graded card to try and work out. Catch all the action live on Sky channel 468 from 7.15pm and via bookmaker streams when you place a bet on the racing.

The PGT free Friday selection for this week is Civility Counts who lines up from T1 in the Romford 500 standard final at 9.24 over the four bend 400 metre trip. The early paced railer looks ideally drawn tonight and with a level break he will take all the beating. In a very competitive race the key to victory will be the break and run into the first corner, it’s imperative that Civility Counts breaks in best fashion and gets on the bunny.

The 2016 Coral Essex Vase takes centre stage from 7.47 at Romford with six heats in total live on RPGTV. All the heats look highly competitive and the competition has certainly attracted a high-class field of six bend performers. Ante post betting is available with most major online bookmakers with them all offering a quarter the odds and first four places in the final for those looking for an each way outright bet.

Over at Sunderland one that could be worth noting in the market is Drumcrow Tilly who runs from T1 in the A4 graded race at 10.35 over the standard four bend trip of 450 metres. The Yvonne Bell trained railer looks well drawn to lead round and on her best form she would be more than capable of taking a race like this. Look out for market support for this runner on track, any significant market moves should be duly noted.

Saturday – Crayford and Newcastle live on Racing Post Greyhound TV

On Saturday evening the feature race on RPGTV will be the 2016 Carlsberg Kent St Leger final from Crayford at 9.24. Early paced Tiddly Winks who lines up from T2 looks the likely race leader and is sure to attract support at 7/2 with Ladbrokes, on the bunny she could prove hard to peg back. The strong stayers in the Pretty Lane (T3) and Droopys Cottage (T5) will be a danger to all if they turn within striking distance and those backing the front runners will need to keep and eye on this pair on the final circuit.

One worth keeping an eye on a little early on is Crackaway Storm (T1) in the maiden marathon race at 8.34 from Crayford over the stamina zapping trip of 874 metres. The Hove raider caught the eye last time out at Romford when she stayed on well over 750 metres and was keeping on well into the pick up, now upped in trip again she’s a very interesting runner. Look out for prices from firms on Saturday afternoon, if she’s a backable price she could be worth taking a chance on over this sort of trip.

Sunday – Henlow live on Racing Post Greyhound TV

As ever the RPGTV racing week concludes on Sunday evening with an interesting but tricky inter track card featuring races over the two, four, and six bend trips. Quite often in these inter track heats money talks, look out for major market moves throughout Sunday afternoon, major gambles should be noted.

A little later on look out for Idle Talker (T2) in the Henlow 428 mini final at 8.32. Idle Talker will need to trap in best fashion with a short run into the first corner but if he does manage to lead round he will talk the world of beating. A repeat of the 1.76 sectional and 25.72 clock recorded last time out should be good enough to claim the victory on Sunday evening.
