Greyhound Betting Tips & Preview 18th – 20th November
All eyes will be on Romford this evening as the London road venue plays host to thirteen open races over four trips including the eight bend marathon trip of 750 metres. Catch all the action live on Sky channel 468 from 7.15pm and via online bookmaker streams when you place a bet on the racing.
The PGT free Friday selection for this week is Droopys Elite who lines up from T6 in the 8.50 open race from Romford over the six bend 575 metre trip. The Dean Childs trained wide seed won well over course and distance back on the 4th November when she pinged the lids and made all, next time up she didn’t lead round and found life tough. Tonight in a race lacking early pace there’s every chance for Droopys Elite to get on the bunny and show her class, lead round and she will take all the beating.
PGT FREE FRIDAY SELECTION – DROOPYS ELITE – T6 – 8.50 Romford
Slick Sebastian make a huge impression last week over six bends and the Towcester raider looks the one to beat tonight in the dual distance final over the eight bend 750 metre trip which is scheduled for 9.24. The Pat Janssens trained son of Tullymurry Act showed huge middle gears in the heats last week and stayed on strong to the pick up to suggest this trip should suit, although stamina is yet to be proven over this trip he will take all the beating granted a clear run.
Over at Sunderland look out for Droopys Yen who runs from T2 in the 8.58 open race over the standard four bend trip of 450 metres. Now drawn a little closer to the rails and inside main rival Calzaghe Costa (T4) Droopys yen looks a huge player. The key to victory will be the break and run into the first corner, hit the front early on and it should be all over bar the shouting down the back straight.
Saturday – Newcastle and Crayford live on Racing Post Greyhound TV
On Saturday evening the RPGTV camera’s move on Crayford and Newcastle for competitive action, join the panel on Frontrunner TV Sky channel 468 from 7.15pm for all the latest greyhound racing news, race previews and market mover information.
The feature races on Saturday night are the two Carlsberg Kent St Leger semi-finals that take place at 8.34 and 9.06. The first semi-final at 8.34 can go to Tiddly Winks who runs from T4 for trainer Barry O’Sullivan. The early paced railer is drawn a little wider than ideal but with one of her better breaks she can cheat the draw and record and trap to line victory.
The second semi-final at 9.06 looks wide open, Central Park raider Jimbobjoe (T2) is likely to prove popular in the market after impressing last time out, as will Pretty Lane who lines up from T3. Local hope Phat Phoebe (T4) has a chance on the bunny and can’t be ruled out in a very competitive race.
Sunday – Henlow live on Racing Post Greyhound TV
As ever the RPGTV racing week concludes on Sunday evening with a decent all open race card from Henlow for us to try and work out. All the racing can be viewed via bookmaker streams and on Sky channel 468 from 6.15pm.
One that appeals at this early stage and is worth noting in the market is Philidolly who runs from T1 in the 8.30 open race from Henlow over the 550 metre trip. The Harlow raider is in flying form at the minute and looks and interesting runner here from what should be a plot draw. Trap out in best fashion and Philidolly will take all the beating.
