Greyhound Betting Tips : 2nd – 4th October
Racing Post Greyhound TV is live from Sunderland and Romford this evening; the action gets underway at 7.15pm on Sky channel 212 and 401 via Freesat.
This week’s free PGT selection is What A Laugh who runs from T6 in the 9.56 open race over the standard four bend trip at Romford of 400 meters. The solo wide seed looks ideally drawn this evening to ping out and make all, if our selection breaks in best fashion he will take all the beating. Knockboy Malmo (T4) is likely to head towards the rails and trap rise, and that could cause trouble of the greyhounds drawn inside and hand the advantage to our selection out wide.
PGT FREE FRIDAY SELECTION – WHAT A LAUGH – T6 – 9.56 Romford
A little later on look out for Laughing Gravy who runs from T5 in the 10.26 open race for trainer David Pruhs from Peterborough. The former Romford Puppy Cup winner has returned to the track in flying form recently, and if he repeats the 3.75 or 3.70 sectionals he should be clear of his rivals at the first bend and he will be very hard to beat. The key to the race will be the break and run into the first corner, if Laughing Gravy was to miss the break it would open up the race for the likes of Bolshoi Booze (T4) or Lodge Boy (T2) who are both capable of taking a race like this on a going day.
Over at Sunderland Istheinkdry looks well drawn in T2 (10.03) and the early paced railer has a cracking chance of making all and landing the top grade A1 race over the 450-meter trip. The son of Droopys Scolari is a decent sort in this grade, and if he breaks well he could be the one to beat this evening.
Saturday – Crayford and Newcastle live on Racing Post Greyhound TV
RPGTV moves onto Newcastle and Crayford on Saturday evening with the feature races the Carlsberg Kent St Leger heats from Crayford at 8.18, 8.34, 9.06 and 9.24. The first heat looks wide open but if the solo wide seed Droopys Tamera (T6) breaks well she could be the one to win the race and claim a spot in the next round. The 9.06 can go to Wiki Waki Woo from T3, the Hall Green raider who is a class act over this course and distance as she proved when winning the 2015 Ladbrokes Golden Jacket back in February. Bubbly Time who finished second to Wiki Waki Woo in the Golden Jacket final runs from T3 in the final Kent St Leger heat at 9.24 and the daughter of Hondo Black will be very hard to beat but she might start a little short to support in the betting.
Sunday – Henlow live on Racing Post Greyhound TV
The final RPGTV show of the week is from Henlow on Sunday evening, join the team on Sky 212 from 6.15pm for all the action.
One that appeals at this early stage based on a decent draw is Droopys Roller from T1 in the 7.30 open over the 550-meter trip. The Mark Wallis trained Towcester raider looks ideally drawn in T1 and if the daughter of Blonde Snapper can hold her pitch into the first corner she should lead off the second bend and kick for home, on the bunny she’s a decent type over and intermediate six bend trip.
PGT update – hope you were all on board in September as we recorded just over 19 points profit for our subscribers, yet again a cracking month for PGT.
