Friday – The Coral Champion Stakes Semi Finals live on Racing Post Greyhound TV
What a night of greyhound racing we have in prospect this evening with the Coral Champion Stakes semi finals taking centre stage at the London Road Circuit Romford, the supporting opens include the Champion Night Bitches Heats, and the Champion Night Standard Heats. The bookmakers have priced up the action so let’s crack on and find the winners.
The Coral Champion Stakes semi finals are scheduled for 8.34, 8.50 and 9.06. The first semi at 8.34 looks wide open, as ever the break and run into the first corner will be vital and with the likes of Jet Stream Sound (T2), Domino Storm (T3), Patchys Kerry (T4) and Droopys Jarrow (T6) in the race it promises to be a cracker. The second semi at 8.50 see’s course and distance specialist Adageo Bob line up from T5, the Mark Wallis trained son of Hondo Black preformed miracles to win in the heats last week when showing blistering middle pace to hit the front off the last bend, the wide seed can’t afford a missed break this evening however, with the likes of Chicago (T1), Blonde Razor (T2) and Jimmy Nailed On (T6) in opposition Bob will need to bring his trapping boots.
The third and final semi final at 9.06 is a very interesting race, plenty of the field will be looking to lead round and it looks a ‘leader wins’ type of race. Jet Steam Jack (T5) won well in the heats and if the Towcester raider manages to clear Ballymac Loch (T4) into the first corner and lead round he will take all the beating.
This weeks free Friday PGT selection is Only For Life who runs from T6 in the 9.40 open race over the six bend 575 meter trip. The solo wide seed caught the eye over four bends last week when staying on well to the pick up, now stepped up to a more suitable six bend trip the Hazel Kemp trained Towcester raider looks ideally drawn and if trapping well he will take all the beating.

Saturday – Crayford and Newcastle live on Racing Post Greyhound TV
On Saturday RPGTV moves onto Crayford and Newcastle, the show gets underway at 7.15pm live on Sky channel 212 and Freesat 401.
The feature race on Saturday evening is the Ladbrokes.com Summer Sprint Trophy Final from Crayford at 8.34, £1000 in prize money is up form grabs and with Kokcha Blue (T1), Aimnfire (T3) Knockmoy Jack (T4) and Crime Detection (T5) in the line up it looks a a very competitive race. The break and run into the first bend will be vital, most of the field are blessed with early pace and whichever greyhound manages to hit the front will take all the beating. Aimnfire (T3) caught the eye in the heats last week, the Poole raider showed decent middle gears and stayed on well and would be a danger to all if trapping well.
Sunday – Henlow Live on Racing Post Greyhound TV
On Sunday Henlow stages the heats of the Kab Maiden Derby Heats over the four bend 460 meter trip, the show gets underway at 6.15pm, with the first live race at 6.45pm.
One that appeals at this very early stage is Roxholme Bob from T6 in the 8.00 heat number three of the Kab Maiden Derby. The solo wide seed has some top class Irish form on his card and recently trialled well over course and distance, if the Hayley Keightley trained runner breaks in best fashion he will take all the beating. As ever the price offered on the day will determine if Bob is worth a bet.
