Most Premier League teams have just 11 games to play and Liverpool will be looking for a win over Watford on Wednesday night to at least maintain the gap over title rivals Manchester City.
There’s also an important match between Chelsea and Tottenham, with both sides desperate to claim a Champions League spot for next season.
We’ve free tips for both those matches as well as Newcastle vs Burnley and Arsenal vs Bournemouth.
Newcastle vs Burnley (Tuesday 8.00)
Both Newcastle and Burnley have dragged themselves out of the immediate relegation battle by putting together a useful run of form, but both could easily be dragged back into that battle for survival if they don’t maintain their current high standards.
Newcastle’s recent Premier League home record stands at three straight wins over Cardiff, Manchester City, and Huddersfield, and a victory over Burnley would see them leapfrog their opponents in the Premier League table.
But that could be a tough ask, as Burnley are now undefeated in their last eight Premier League games including two wins and two draws in their last four away games. Those draws came against Manchester United and Watford and, with Burnley also confident after beating Tottenham at home at the weekend, the bookies may have made a mistake in pricing Newcastle up at a best-priced 13/11.
Newcastle did actually beat Burnley away from home earlier this season but, as Burnley were in complete disarray at the time, it’s more interesting that the last two renewals of this fixture were both draws – which again looks the value bet.

Arsenal vs Bournemouth (Wednesday 7.45)
There are a couple of compelling reasons to take the odds-on about there being more than 2.5 goals in the Arsenal vs Bournemouth match. The first of those is their recent run of heads to heads in which you would have landed that bet on five successive occasions, with the scores finishing 3-1, 3-1, 3-0, 2-1, and 2-1.
The second reason is Bournemouth’s away form against top-six sides this season, which includes defeats at Liverpool (3-0), Manchester United (4-1), Tottenham (5-0), and Manchester City (3-1).

Chelsea vs Tottenham (Wednesday 8.00)
Up until their recent Carabao Cup second-leg semi-final defeats at Stamford Bridge, Tottenham had enjoyed the upper-hand in their recent head-to-heads with Chelsea. They won the first-leg of that semi-final 1-0 and had beaten Chelsea 3-1 in the league at Wembley this season, while they also won last season’s corresponding fixture 3-1.
After defeats at the weekend against Manchester City and Burnley, both teams look like it will be a trophy-less season for them, and all they really have to play for is a spot in next season’s Champions League.
Tottenham are in the best position to win one of those spots and a win for them here would see them draw 13 points clear of their London rivals. Meantime, a Chelsea win would see the gap narrow to seven points with a game in hand.
For that reason, Chelsea revert to the sort of tactics that saw them stop Manchester City scoring on Sunday and, with Tottenham likely to keep attacking, I can see Chelsea stealing this by a single goal.

Liverpool vs Watford (Wednesday 8.00)
Goalless draws against both Bayern Munich and Manchester United could have seriously dented Liverpool’s chances of winning the Champions League and the Premier League Titles and some team is likely to feel the full wrath of Liverpool’s frustrations soon.
If recent head to heads between Liverpool and Watford are anything to go by, it could be Watford, with the last three matches between them ending 3-3, 5-0, and 3-0.
As Liverpool’s goal difference is insignificantly inferior to main rivals Manchester City, they could also do with a big win, whilst Watford may also be in the mood to attack after their 5-1 victory over Cardiff at the weekend, making this the sort of match where over 4.5 goals looks worth a bet.
