Free Premier League Tips For Saturday
Published on 07/12/18
Manchester City continue to be the dominant team in the Premier League and the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham, and Arsenal will be hoping Chelsea do them a massive favour this weekend when City travel to Stamford Bridge. So, check out our analysis and free tip for Chelsea vs Tottenham. If City do slip up, Liverpool could take over at the top if they beat Bournemouth and we’ve also got a free tip for Bournemouth vs Liverpool.
Meanwhile, Tottenham will be hoping they can win at Leicester to keep them in third place above London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal, and we’ve got two free tips for Leicester vs Tottenham.
Bournemouth vs Liverpool (Saturday 12.30)
Bournemouth got back on track with a win against Huddersfield in midweek but, having not overly impressed in that match, they look vulnerable here against Liverpool having suffered four subsequent defeats against Manchester City, Arsenal, Newcastle, and Manchester United.
By comparison, Liverpool continue to get the job done against the smaller teams, and are going for five wins on the bounce after beating Fulham, Watford, Everton, and Burnley. Odds of around 8/13 about a Liverpool win look more than fair, but I can’t resist trying to squeeze some more value out of the match by backing Liverpool to win to nil.
Admittedly, Bournemouth have scored in all but three of their Premier League matches this season, but Liverpool have kept nine clean sheets and conceded no more than one goal in any Premier League match. They also beat Bournemouth to nil twice last season. So, with Liverpool keeping a clean sheet more than 50% of the time, it’s interesting we can roughly triple their win odds to around 2/1 by backing them to win to nil.

Chelsea vs Manchester City (Saturday 5.30)
Chelsea’s title aspirations have taken a real battering recently with a home draw against Everton and away defeats to both Tottenham and Wolves meaning they now trail Manchester City by 10-points. Meanwhile, Manchester City just keep doing what they do best – winning games – and are going for their ninth successive Premier League win since they drew 0-0 against Liverpool in October.
The Premier League’s top-scorers by some way, City also have the second meanest defence and that’s a combination that should prove too strong for a Chelsea side they’ve beaten to nil the last three times the two teams played each other. City have conceded a goal in four of their last five Premier League games though, so I’m happy to just take any price around the even-money mark for a Manchester City win, rather than try and predict whether City will keep a clean sheet or not.

Leicester vs Tottenham (Saturday 7.45)
An unusually late kick-off for a Saturday match but, if recent matches between Leicester and Tottenham are anything to go by, we can hopefully look forward to plenty of goals. There were nine goals the last time the two teams met in May, whilst Tottenham won this fixture 6-1 in May 2017. Sandwiched in between those two matches is Leicester’s 2-1 in last season’s corresponding fixture.
Sadly, Leicester’s recent premier League results suggest they’re not as an attacking a side as they used to be, with each of their last five games producing less than 2.5 goals.
However, five of Tottenham’s last six Premier League matches have produced at least four goals and, as the better side, their tactics may influence the game more than Leicester’s. If that’s the case, it’s easy to make a case for backing more than 3.5 goals at around 2/1. I also can’t resist a punt on more than 4.5 goals at 5/1 whilst, if you’re really brave, you may want to also risk a punt on more than 5.5 goals at around 12/1.
