Free NBA Picks For Wednesday 10th April
Published on 10/04/19
The final regular season day is upon us and the Heat could be partaking in an important game against the Nets.
A win could put the Heat into the playoffs, with games still to be determined, but it should make for an exciting game and it could end the career of Dwayne Wade.
Miami Heat vs Brooklyn Nets @ Barclays Center
Past Meetings And Form
This is the fourth game between these two sides this season and the Heat hold a 2-1 advantage. The most recent game was a 117-88 win to the Heat and they will be looking for more of the same on Wednesday.
Dwayne Wade will be looking to go out in style and if the Heat have already been eliminated before this game, expect a “Kobe-like” performance from the Heat. They will feed Wade the ball throughout and we wouldn’t be surprised to see him drop 40+ points.
Looking to get in their way will be the Nets, who still have playoff positions to play for. DeAngelo Russell has been good this season with 21.1 points per game and he has certainly matured since arriving at the Nets.
Nets have a winning home record at 22-18 but the Heat play well on the road and could make this a close contest.
This game largely depends on the Heat’s Eastern Conference standings at tipoff, but we think the Nets will be too good either way.
They will be wanting to enter the playoffs on a strong note and we’re predicting a steady 7-point win from the home team.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Milwaukee Bucks @ Fiserv Forum
This will be a battle between superstars Russell Westbrook and The Greek Freak, which is going to be a great final day of action in the NBA.
Past Meetings And Form
The Thunder and Bucks have met once this season with the Thunder coming out on top 118-112 in Oklahoma.
Bucks own the best record in the NBA and not many predicted that to start the season, considering super teams Warriors and Celtics were stacked top to bottom.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has scored 27.7 points per game this season with 12.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists in what could be an MVP year. That being said, Paul George for the Thunder has averaged 28.1 points per game and we haven’t mentioned Westbrook’s stats yet.
Westbrook has averaged a triple-double in three consecutive seasons and that’s a record unlikely to be repeated again. He’s not getting much respect for that and if he’s on his game, the Thunder are title threats.
Bookmakers will side with the Bucks and rightfully so, given their 60-21 record, but don’t let that record affect your mindset.
The Thunder are a worthy opponent and they’re coming from the much harder Western conference where their regular opposition is harder.
Picking the Thunder to cause an upset and give the Bucks something to think about as the playoffs loom.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Denver Nuggets @ Pepsi Center
Only one of these teams is heading to the playoffs but the Timberwolves could give their fans some reason to return next season.
Past Meetings And Form
Given their talent on paper, the Timberwolves have been awful this season with a losing record of 36-44. With the talent they have on their roster, which includes Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins – not to mention Derrek Rose and Tyus Jones, the Wolves have been very poor.
Coming up against the Nuggets at home won’t help their situation as the Nuggets haven’t made it a habit of losing at Pepsi Center. They own a 33-7 home record and they should secure a home playoff series.
The Nuggets could rest a few players for this game but they should want to score another home win to close out the season.
For the Timberwolves, they will need to take a hard look at themselves otherwise next season could be exactly like this one. A losing record with some of the most talented NBA players on your roster is on par with the LA Lakers and they’re facing national scrutiny.
Bettors should expect a tight game in this situation.
Starting lineups will affect the bookmakers’ line for this game but we’re giving the edge to the Denver Nuggets.
They own the league’s best home record with only seven losses and despite having a few players on the day-to-day injured list, they should line up in the final regular season game of the year.
Timberwolves have their positive aspects and they can turn up on any given day, but this day should belong to the Nuggets and their loyal fans who are now being rewarded for their patience.
