There’s some great NBA games on Wednesday, let’s analyse the games and get our bets on.
Orlando Magic vs. New York Knicks @ Madison Square Garden
Both the Magic and Knicks come into this game with momentum and that should set up for a terrific game at Madison Square Garden.
Past Meetings and Stats
The Knicks scored only their fifth win at home when upsetting the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday and the 130-118 win is going to give them a much-needed confidence boost.
Magic scored a more impressive win against Toronto. The 113-98 win was a total domination of the Canandian outfit from the word go and it showed how dangerous the Magic can be when they play well.
Nikola Vucevic has been averaging over 20 points per game this season and although their record of 28-33 is below the mark, they have played well winning their last four from five games.
These two teams played twice earlier in the season with Magic winning both games by a combined margin of 40 points. One of those wins came in New York and that holds them in good for this upcoming NBA game.
Both teams are suffering with high injury numbers.
It was a rare win for the Knicks against the Spurs but the better team is the Orlando Magic, which is on an impressive run of late. Wins over Hawks, Pelicans, Hornets and Raptors has seen their record improve nicely.
The only recent loss they suffered was a one-point defeat to the Bulls and we can see them blowing the Knicks off the court here.

Boston Celtics vs. Toronto Raptors @ Scotiabank Arena
It’s always a fun game when two Eastern Conference powerhouses play each other and there is plenty at stake this Wednesday as the Celtics travel to Toronto to play the Raptors.
Kawai Leonard is on the disabled list and is in doubt of playing but it should still be a great battle between two of the best teams in the east.
Past Meetings and Stats
An away team hasn’t won in this matchup since the Raptors scored a 101-94 win in 2016. Since then the home team has won the last 10 and that plays into the hands of the Raptors here.
They could be, however, without their star Kawai Leonard. That will not only affect the Raptors’ chances of winning but also the bookmaker line.
This is a game the Celtics desperately need to win after dropping their last two games against the Bucks and a shocking loss to the Bulls. They are playing awful away from home and a big turnaround is needed to win.
Raptors dropped their last game to the Magic but they had won their previous seven games.
Not an easy game to call and it could depend on the availability of Leonard, but if he doesn’t suit up, we have to go for a minor upset. The Celtics should be treating this game as a finals game and it’s a must-win situation for their team chemistry.
If the Celtics lose three in a row, expect heads to roll in Boston as this team was supposed to challenge the Warriors for the title.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Denver Nuggets @ Pepsi Center
It’s a Western Conference superstar game between two teams which have looked impressive this season and given the talent on show, it should be one of the games of the week.
Past Meetings and Stats
This will be the third game between the Thunder and Nuggets this season and first for 2019. The Nuggets are 2-0 after scoring 105-98 in Oklahoma before going home and winning easily 109-98.
The Nuggets have been rock-solid at home with a record of 26-4 at Pepsi Center. That’s the best home record of any team in the NBA and it has been on the back of the play from Nikola Jokic, who leads the team in points, rebounds and assists per game.
Thunder might not have the same record but they aren’t lacking superstars. Paul George came up big when delivering a double-overtime win over the Jazz on Sunday. They lost to the Kings following that but we’re not surprised given the physicality of that Jazz game.
The Thunder are an enigmatic team which has the firepower to beat any team in the NBA but the Nuggets are impenetrable at home and that’s a big factor in this.
They’re coming off a thrashing of the Clippers 123-96 and with their last loss coming to the 76ers away from home, their form coming into this game is better than the Thunder.
The odds will be interesting but bookmakers should have the Nuggets as solid home favorites in this situation.
