Tennesse went from #1 to #5 in the space of one game and they will be looking to exact their revenge against Vanderbilt on Wednesday of this week.
Vanderbilt vs. Tennessee @ Thompson-Boling Arena
Kentucky was able to get the better of the red-hot Volunteers on Saturday and it was a surprisingly poor effort from the 23-2 side but facing a struggling Commodores team could be exactly what they’re looking for.
Past Meetings and Stats
The 86-69 loss to Kentucky was certainly a shock result for Tennessee and that could spell trouble for Vandy, which has lost an incredible 13 straight games.
After starting 9-3, Vanderbilt has fallen out of contention and it has been a remarkable lack of form from the former quality side. They are 0-12 in the conference, which is headed by Tennessee at 11-1 and they should struggle to win again.
These teams have met only five times in the last two years and it’s Tennessee with a 4-1 advantage. The last time they met was in January when the game went into overtime. Tennessee came out on top 88-83 but it won’t be as close this time around.
Tennessee has a perfect record at home this season and it’s hard to see that changing against Vanderbilt.
The opening line of 18.5 could be set to move but bettors should jump on Tennessee –18.5. That’s a line that seems high, but they’re facing a clearly inferior team in Vanderbilt and with a roaring home crowd behind them, the Volunteers should fire on all cylinders.

Tennessee –18.5 @ 1.94 12Bet, 188Bet, 5Dimes, Pinnacle
Purdue vs. Indiana @ Assembly Hall
This Big Ten match up looks a close game with bookmakers setting the line at 4.5 but one team has the clear advantage in the Big Ten conference.
Purdue (#15) comes into this game with its sights set on March Madness but the outlook doesn’t look so good for Indiana, which need to win in order to stay at .500.
The Boilermakers are a half-game back of Michigan in the standings and a win here puts them at the top of the Big Ten standings, so it’s an important contest.
Past Meetings and Stats
Purdue owns a recent four-game winning streak over Indiana, which is trying to rebound after dropping four home games in a row.
That rarely happens to Indiana, which is a proud home team but they have been on the offensive end, scoring only 71.2 points per game compared to 77.8 from Purdue.
Indiana’s home defeats haven’t instilled bettors with much confidence with heavy losses coming to Nebraska and Michigan. They were improved when losing by five points to Ohio State but the losing streak continued.
Purdue has lost just one of its last 10 games. That came to Maryland but they rebounded by beating Penn State 74-64. Considering they beat Nebraska by 19 points just three games back, that doesn’t bode well for Indiana.
Bettors are getting value with Purdue at –4.5. Going on statistics, recent form and momentum, Purdue is the clear better team and we’re expecting money to come for them late.
Carsen Edwards will likely top score for Purdue and that should be enough.

Florida State vs. Clemson @ Littlejohn Stadium
It’s rare to see the ranked team as underdogs with a 20-5 record but that’s the situation facing the Florida State Seminoles against Clemson.
The Tigers are 15-10 on the season and bookies have them as the two-point favorites, which is strange given the form of both sides. This should be an intriguing matchup.
Past Meetings and Stats
Florida State has won four of the last five meetings against Clemson, winning most recently at home in January (77-68).
Clemson have been tough to beat at home this season, losing just two of their last 10 games and they have defeated tough teams such as Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh along the way.
There’s no doubting Florida State comes into this game with the better form with Clemson riding a two-game losing streak and Florida State winning their last seven.
The winning streak came after they dropped four games in a five-game stretch but they’re flying now with recent wins over Georgia Tech, Louisville, Miami and of course their win over Clemson earlier this year.
We are a bit concerned with the bookmakers opening the line at –2 in Clemson’s favor as they often know what they’re doing, but we’re not going to pass up the money on offer for the in-form Seminoles.
They are currently the better team and with March Madness aspirations, Florida State should have enough in the tank to get past Clemson for the second time this season.
We wouldn’t be surprised to see the line shift in Florida State’s direction come game time.
