Premier League Tips For Saturday 26 August
All the Premier League Teams may have only played two matches so far, but only Manchester United, Huddersfield and West Brom have taken maximum points, and you’d have got decent odds about that.
However, there’s a buzz about this season’s Premier League – and we’ll do out very best to keep trying to find some value-bets, starting with bets for Bournemouth vs Manchester City, Crystal Palace vs Swansea, and Manchester United vs Leicester.
Bournemouth vs Manchester City (12.30)
Bournemouth have defied many people’s predictions by surviving two-years in the Premier League, but their 4 matches against Manchester City in this time haven’t contributed a single point to their survival hopes. They’ve lost their 2 home fixtures 0-2 and 0-4, whilst they’ve lost away at City 4-0 and 5-1. After two opening defeats, and yet to hit the net, it could be more misery for Bournemouth – with City to win to nil looking the value bet.

Crystal Palace vs Swansea (3.00)
Crystal Palace are striving to play better football under new manager Frank de Boer, but the early signs aren’t positive as they’ve been beaten 3-0 by Huddersfield and 1-0 by Liverpool. Swansea have also failed to score in their opening two matches and, though they conceded four goals to Manchester United (three in the last 10 minutes as they tried to equalise), they did at least keep a clean sheet against Southampton. Last season’s games bely these goal-shy statistics, as the two games between the two sides produced 12 goals, though there were never more than 2 goals in any of the previous 6 clashes between them. Therefore, it may be best to disregard last year’s matches, and go for the less than 2.5 goals option.

Manchester United vs Leicester (5.30)
Manchester United have quickly established themselves at the top of the table after 4-0 wins over West Ham and Swansea, but Leicester should prove more of a test for a United after scoring 3 against Arsenal and 2 against Brighton. Leicester managed to hold United to draws in both games in their title-winning season, but it was United who proved the better team last year, with their three victories including a win in the Charity Shield. Leicester did manage to score in two of those three wins though and, with United winning and both teams scoring in 3 of their last 6 encounters – that looks the most interesting bet.
