Euro 2020 Qualifier Analysis [Plus FREE Tips]
There’s some great qualifying Euro 2020 action on Tuesday (June 11) as the excitement continues.
Check out our stats, analysis, and free tips for Belarus vs Northern Ireland, and Belgium vs Scotland.
Belarus vs Northern Ireland (7.45)
Northern Ireland sit proudly on top of Group C after starting their Euro 2010 qualifying campaign with three straight wins, whilst Belarus sit pointless at the bottom after three straight defeats.
Northern Ireland have beaten Estonia, who are also pointless, twice, whilst they only just overcame Belarus 2-1 at home thanks to a late goal. The other two defeats for Belarus came away in Holland and at home against Germany, games they were expected to lose.
FIFA have Northern Ireland well ahead on world rankings, with Northern Ireland ranked 33 and Belarus ranked 81. However, both teams will be in the “C” Groups for the next Nations League tournament after Northern Ireland were relegated from their “B” Group and Belarus were promoted from their “D” Group.
The main problem for Belarus is goals as, since their 5-0 home win over San Marino in September, they’ve scored just twice in eight games. That means Northern Ireland may have enough firepower to outscore them again, especially as they’ll be motivated to maintain their 100% record before they meet the big guns of Germany and the Netherlands.

Belgium vs Scotland
Cast your mind back to September 2018 when Scotland last played Belgium and it’s not pretty reading for Scotland fans. Belgium took a 1-0 half-time lead in Scotland but quickly wrapped the game up in the second-half with three goals in 15-minutes.
Belgium haven’t been invincible since, with a home draw against the Netherlands and that shock 5-2 away defeat in Switzerland in the Nations League, but they’ve still racked up plenty of wins since against Iceland (twice), Kazakhstan, Cyprus, and Russia.
Meanwhile, Scotland are already looking highly unlikely to qualify for Euro 2020. They struggled to beat San Marino 2-0 in Scotland and needed an 89th-minute goal to see off Cyprus. They also lost 3-0 in Kazakhstan, which suggests that the bookies have it right by making Belgium a best-priced 3/19 to win three points on Tuesday night.
It’s surely a question of how many, and that’s where the betting could get interesting. A couple of bookmakers were going as big as 7/5 about more than 3.5 goals at the time of writing, which looks generous considering Belgium won 4-0 last time they met and are at home this time.
