2016 Euro Qualifiers Tips
With Manchester City already a best-priced 1/2 for the Premier League after just 4 games, and 5 points clear over any serious rival, the Euro 2016 Qualifiers bring about some already welcome respite. Scotland and the Republic of Ireland bid to keep their slim hopes of qualification alive with must-win games in Georgia and Gibraltar, whilst Northern Ireland also play away in the Faroe Islands where victory would keep them very much on the path to automatic qualification. Meanwhile, England can pretty much guarantee qualification with victory over Group E minnows San Marino.
Here’s our analysis of all four games – and a tip for each!
Faroe Islands vs Northern Ireland (Friday 7.45)
Northern Island may have landed lucky being drawn in a very weak looking Group-F, but they’ve still achieved more than many expected of them so far. They currently sit second behind Romania but, having played the Romanians twice already, they’re in prime position to qualify for the main event having beaten the 4 teams below them once already. A 2-0 home win over the Faroe Islands was solid enough and, with the Faroe Islands having lost all of their games bar beating whipping boys Greece twice, Northern Ireland look fair value at 4/6.

Gibraltar vs Republic of Ireland (Friday 7.45)
With Gibraltar having conceded 34 goals so far in just 6 games (scored 1), it looks a case of by how many for the Republic of Ireland, who are one of 3 teams to have beaten Gibraltar 7-0 so far. Scotland also beat Gibraltar 6-1, meaning there have been 7 goals in 4 of the 6 matches concerning Gibraltar; making the 6/5 for there to be more than 5.5 goals look a decent bet.

Georgia vs Scotland (Friday 7.45)
Scotland, third in Group D, must beat Georgia to have any chance of making it to the finals – but there are plenty of reasons to think they can. Firstly they have already beaten them at home (1-0) in the competition, whilst away draws against Poland and the Republic of Ireland have shown their traveling qualities. Georgia have also lost all 3 of their home games so in the competition, and their only points came against bottom team Gibraltar.

San Marino vs England (Saturday 5pm)
England will almost certainly book their place in the finals with victory here, and they can hopefully do so in style. San Marino have failed to score so far in the competition, conceding 19 goals, and gaining just a solitary point for their endeavours. An absolute avalanche of goals would be nice from a jingoistic point of view, but San Marino have yet to concede more than 4 at home so far in 3 matches, and have only conceded more than 5 goals once in 6 games – making the 11/12 for there to be less than 5.5 goals look the value
