The Kansas City Chiefs (4-1) face the Buffalo Bills (4-1) in this week 6 Monday night matchup of two pretty good teams. Before the season began, few probably thought this would be a highly touted game. The Kansas City Chiefs were coming off a Super Bowl winning season and the Buffalo Bills were floating around in the sewer that is the AFC East. However the Bills have started the season with some fire and that should make this one of the better games of the season so far.
The Chiefs have the third-ranked total offense in the NFL with 407.2 yards per game while the Bills rank fifth with 401.8 yards per game. The Chiefs also rank fourth in passing with over 287 yards per game but this has been the Buffalo Bills bread-and-butter at 308 yards – second best in the NFL.
Last Sunday the Chiefs were handed their first defeat of the season, losing to the Raiders whose defense stymied Pat Mahomes’ offensive attack at times. The Chiefs will also need to overcome a few injuries to their main offensive players. Something that quarterback, Pat Mahomes has done before.
Josh Allen has been awesome this season for the Bills, but last week they were also handed their first defeat by the Tennessee Titans who made Allen’s life a living hell holding them to a season-low in yards.
We look for Mahomes and the Chiefs to rebound from their loss to the Raiders. This is a team with more fight while the Bills have some of the tools but still have a lot to put together before they’ll be considered elite. The Titans exposed them last week for what they are. We like the Chiefs to win.
