The final game we’ll be taking a look at for NFL’s week 11 is the Green Bay Packers (7-2) vs. the Indianapolis Colts (6-3). The odds we’re getting on the Green Bay Packers make this an easy bet to take. Let’s look a little deeper.
The Indianapolis Colts have spent the better part of the season picking off mediocre teams like the New York Jets, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Detroit Lions. They’ve also lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens are the only team in that mix that looks like a playoff contender this season. They defeated the Tennessee Titans last week but the Titans have gone into a bit of a tailspin as of late so we’re not giving them a ton of credit for that.
The Green Bay Packers have also defeated a bunch of mediocre teams like the Lions, Falcons and Texans but when they’ve had to play tougher teams this season they’ve performed well. They defeated the Saints by a touchdown in week 3 and the only teams they’ve lost to were the Tampa Bay Bucs who were on a tear at that point and the Minnesota Vikings who are an in-and-out team and whom they defeated in week 1.
The level of competition the Packers have faced is stronger than the level the Colts have faced and for that reason we’re going with the Packers to “upset” the favored Colts.
