Well August has certainly been a turnaround from the miserable July we had and we can proudly say that the Betting Gods tipsters produced a net profit of over 460pts with just over half the tipsters ending the month up. As always, let’s look at the winners and the unfortunate losers for August:
Golf Betting Expert was the best performing tipster in August by a country mile! Having produced just over 318pts, this has to be one of the standout performances not just in August but in Betting Gods history. Winners included: Bryson Dechambeau @ 35/1, Bryson Dechambeau (again) @ 80/1, Brandt Snedeker @ 25/1 and Brooks Koepka @ 20/1.
Whether you’ve considered betting on the golf before or not, surely 318pts should have whetted your appetite sufficiently to go and check out the service that Craig has been running since the start of 2016? Visit Golf Betting Expert Here
The top performing racing tipster was The Bookies Enemy who pulled in a staggering 71.10pts profit. That figure alone is impressive… But we can actually make his performance in August sound even better. He hit that figure with an ROI of over 70%, backing just 69 selections at average odds of around 9/1! Thanks to those figures, August was The Bookies Enemy’s 11th profitable month from 14 months here at Betting Gods and he’s now made over 200pts profit in 2018.
Quentin’s evening service, QF Value Tips, went on to prove you can make money by finding value in the markets the evening before racing happens with a whopping 62pts profit in August.
Rodney’s US focussed service, Rod’s US Runners, was third amongst the racing tipsters having hit over 43pts in August by focussing on the racing action on the other side of the pond.
Convincing people you can make money betting on people playing video games is still no easy task, but eSports Betting Tipster proved it can be done. In fact, with £10 bets he ended up producing over £220 in profit by doing just that.
Greyhound racing does seem to get a little sidelined by punters who would rather focus on the horses but with yet another solid month behind him, Premier Greyhound Tips is certainly making a case for it. He added another 20pts profit to his extensive record having launched the service back in October 2014 (that’s nearly 4 years of results)!
The top performers can be rounded off with a further 4 racing tipsters. Quentin Franks Racing, The Racing King, Max Racing Partnership and Each Way Leader all did a great job of making August profitable and proving that July was a rare blip in the Betting Gods records.
We don’t shy away from the poor performances here at Betting Gods as, in the longterm, we know all of our tipsters will remain profitable.
Rodney’s US service made it in the “The Winners” in August but his main service failed to deliver the same returns having lost just over 40pts in August. It was a real rollercoaster of a ride and he really did get struck down by the notorious seconditis.
All the Betting Gods football tipsters struggled to make any worthwhile gains in August unfortunately. Both The Football Guru and Chloe’s Football Focus ended up losing 27pts and 22pts respectively and Ultimate Football Tips, the latest addition to Betting Gods, also got hit with a horrid losing run to lose 17pts in August.
We can, strangely, take comfort in this. The fact that some of the most experienced football tipsters on the network failed to make money in August just goes to show how hard it was to predict the outcomes of games.
Top Rated Runners was on a terrible run during the first half of August and made the decision to take a 2 week break to look at what was going wrong. He returned at the start of September and has already picked up 3 winners from 5 bets and produced nearly 9pts of profit in September proving that break was beneficial.
The Overall Picture
What a month! Over £4,600 in profit with £10 bets across the Betting Gods network. I know plenty of you are only following a few tipsters at the top end of the table below too so you should be out celebrating. We’re just hoping that they can all carry this momentum into September.

Editorial Notes: A slight error was made in the Top 20 Golf Tips results which meant his profit/loss figure was 30pts lower than it should have been. This was changed at 13:52 GMT which is why the total profit for the month increased from 431pt to 460pts.
