2016-17 Premier League Kick-Off
The 2016/17 Premier League season kicks-off with last season’s champions Leicester having the chance to top the table once more after they play Hull at 12.30pm on Saturday. Meanwhile, there also looks to be some value bets in the matches of Everton vs Tottenham, Arsenal vs Liverpool, and Chelsea vs West Ham.
Hull vs Leicester (Saturday 12.30pm)
Hull’s return to the Premier League may be a baptism of fire as they start the season without several key players. They also have to play last year’s Champions Leicester who were fantastic away from home last season in notching-up 11 victories, 6 draws and just 2 defeats. Leicester may have lost the Community Shield last Sunday, but they still looked like a side who could well challenge for top-honours again and, as they beat Hull last time this fixture took place in 2014/15, the 19/20 for a Leicester win looks a decent price to start the season with a bang.
Leicester to win @ 20/21
Everton vs Tottenham (Saturday 3pm)
It will be interesting to see whether Tottenham can build on last year’s third-placed finish, and their squad are certainly young enough to take another step forward. Meanwhile, Everton will be hoping to improve on last year’s average season under a new manager. The value bet looks to be a draw though, as the last 3 renewals of this fixture have been 1-1, 0-1, and 0-0, and Everton lost just 8 home games last season, whilst Spurs lost just three times on their travels.
Draw @ 12/5 (Various Bookies)
Arsenal vs Liverpool (Sunday 4pm)
Arsenal have been a model of consistency over recent seasons, whilst Liverpool have blown hot and cold but are likely to better with Klopp at the reigns this year. Liverpool haven’t won here for 5 seasons, but have drawn two of those games, and that strictly makes the draw look the value bet at 28/11.

Chelsea vs West Ham (Monday 8pm)
After last season’s apathetic performance, Chelsea must surely have a better season. However, an opening game against West Ham is far from easy. The Hammers were excellent on their travels last season, winning 7 and drawing 7, with one of those draws being at Stamford Bridge. They also drew here four seasons ago and, with Chelsea having drawn 9 of last season’s home games, a draw again looks a value bet.
